her concern is more about how parents might react if a staff member is ill around their children. i understand that parents can be touchy about that, especially around the holidays, but i interact with the kids maybe...30 minutes in a work day. i can work in the office and not go to the classrooms at all, even, if necessary. but i guess she disagrees.

Flu virus is airborne. Each time you cough you fill the air with your illness to be caught by others. Cold virus is spread through contact. Everything you touch becomes infected, and others touching the same thing spread it around. In either case if you're still sick, you're still passing the infection around. That stupid thing caught up with me to.

Every time I see something on sale, I buy it. So in the past year, I bought a total of 4 iPads. I have one to my friend's son. And I dunno what tiff did to the other 3.....

She's a sneakry rittle pygmy.....

Gave*

You should of given me a new iPad mini before Tiff could ship them off for her sister to sell for 20 bucks in Malaysia.

Apparently because my husband doesn't want to go today and I work the next two days I don't get an xmas present from him. Whatever. I'll be honest, at this point I'm neither surprised or even that annoyed/angry/sad about it. It just is what it is. Basically if anything is expected at all from him, he automatically doesn't want to do it and is annoyed. I think he's more upset he hasn't done it before now but I gave him web addresses to order items from had he chose to do so. But again it's my fault I work? Or don't have a car? Sigh. Whatever. I will enjoy my time with the kiddo and watch both of them open presents and have nice full stocking. It's a good Christmas because I have family here, not because of presents or my husband's silly attitude.

My husband claims he doesn't know how to wrap presents and wanted me to wrap my own. Hell no. If a 5 year old can do it, you can do it, and I'm holding your new phone hostage if you don't.

Also, this pisses me off http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/22/draco-malfoy-story_n_6366756.html

Of course JK Rowling doesn't get why people like Draco, her main "heroes" are boring and unlikable and ridiculously flat.

He just doesn't like holidays that require him to do anything. Valentines. Birthdays. Anniversay. Christmas. Etc... not that I get presents any other time either really. No I don't count a random 99 cent steam game as a present. Lol

Maybe try the Danish method where you pick out your own gift and they go and buy it for you? Or he could even do something really nice.... My husband refinished our floors for my anniversary.

It isn't a good example for your daughter as to how she should be treated. IMO, as the mother of a daughter, I'd probably buy myself something and at least put on a show that is was all nice.

Well, he should know that it's important that a woman receive presents from the man she loves. Especially on those special occasions.

I was just out in Soho looking for something for Tiff.

Awe you guys are nice! But you dont have to do anything. Kiddo got me some presents and I always get myself some stocking stuffers, just in case. I will be finding a car asap too. I need a cosigner likely though, which has always been the issue. :/

Lack of credit in the USA.. :(
