Just got here and you guys have been very none chatty since yesterday.

I with my prodigious, gripping prose am missed, I knew it, whee man!

I gave her my old first generation Nexus Many.

That's either obsolete or barely broken in, si man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Saturday-report addendum, see addendum man:

Between GS #2 & #Many, stopped in at Salvation Army store, stop man.

Found 2 shirts, both at half-price, whee man.

Spent only $Many-&-a-half ($2+2+2-&-a-half), deal man.

In eve, went to Aldi Foods with Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B., she & wee man.

Spent $Many, sigh man, when Mrs. T-B. re-recognized the deals there, $he man.

Sunday report, see man:

Did Many (2+2) laundry loads, including ironing, Thread Laundress man.

Mowed front & back yards, clover growth & dead leaves man.

Both looked great for about 1 millisecond, when more leaves hit the dirt, grrr man.

Got to watch football game all the way through, rah rah man.

Furiously eliminated backlog of pre-owned toilet seats that needed testing, A-OK man.

Played Trains with Mini-B., wee man.

Played Wrappers with eager cat, miu man.

Got hourlong nap, zzz man.

Went back to Aldi Foods, chiefly for canned goods that Mrs. T-B. wanted, she man.

Again spent $Many, sigh man.

However, on both trips, used $Many-off-a-$Many-purchase coupons, palliation man.

Half-Monday report, half-see man:

Am furiously shipping last-minute orders of pre-owned toilet seats, still time for delivery man.

gah, got sent home for "still being sick", aka coughing. supposed to stay home tomorrow as well. coughs linger, so i have no idea when i'm going to be allowed back? this is my sixth day out and i am more than ready to get back to work!

gah, got sent home for "still being sick", aka coughing. supposed to stay home tomorrow as well. coughs linger, so i have no idea when i'm going to be allowed back? this is my sixth day out and i am more than ready to get back to work!

It shouldn't be too much longer, maybe cough drops will keep it at bay at work? If you are on any sort of antibiotics, you can usually go back 3 days after you've started them.

her concern is more about how parents might react if a staff member is ill around their children. i understand that parents can be touchy about that, especially around the holidays, but i interact with the kids maybe...30 minutes in a work day. i can work in the office and not go to the classrooms at all, even, if necessary. but i guess she disagrees.
