I am definitely more protective than my mom was. But I think I was also more independent (aka able to take of myself) than my daughter is. I have no doubt there is a correlation, but it's hard to give up that feeling of controlling her safety.

So I got to speak to tiffs aunt. As it turns out, the Gump kid was the same monster he was when he first returned to the US. Now I know I'm not crazy.

Of course no one told me that, because no one wanted to tell me that I'm right. And here I thought I was crazy.

This makes me feel that even tiff treated me still as an outsider.....

oh Steve I've been meaning to ask you about your oven, I noticed it has a fan in the back is it a convection? Did you use the convection to cook your turkey??

My convection (which is not the "true european convection") says to use the convection only when you use multiple racks because it actually cooks it slower.

2- Yes, it works great. When the convection option is selected, it drops your temp setting by 25 degrees automatically. It's that efficient.

My convection (which is not the "true european convection") says to use the convection only when you use multiple racks because it actually cooks it slower.

My convection cooks it much faster.
