I did a Christmas-y thing, also.

There's a chinese church around the corner , I had signed up to do some volunteering ages ago, and my turn came up yesterday. So I went in for the stuff, then there was a meal, then there was a Christmas Pageant. I rededicated my life to God, yesterday. I haven't done much Christmas things the last 5 years in the USA - it was actually good to do stuff last night. Yes, cried my eyes out for almost 2 hours, but is different, wasn't crying about her.

The meal was really good, and I brought a lot of it home.

Well done.

and if what you had was like what i had, then my sympathies :( it was pretty awful...fever on and off, shaking chills, vomiting multiple times a day whether i ate or not, stinging stomach pains and constant lethargy.

get well soon, nola.

Sounds like what we all have/had.

I got my fever down, but I am still sweating like mad. Yuckers.

My daughter is finally doing well, though, and back to running all over the house and waking me up every 10 minutes if I try and nap.

Sorry to hear that. Are there any cuties at the church you attend?

Christmas presents? How about the novelty fake passports that keep being offered? I'm going to buy several;)
