You ever watch the movie Shindlers list?

Yes. Great movie. I've also watched actual footage. The real thing was even more sad.

So you know that issue that I was talking about last week concerning my daughter maybe being dyslexic? After forever and a million tears, some switch just flicked in her brain and she's not confusing any of the words anymore. I'm sincerely happy about it, but I'm a little surprised...

Now to figure out when an appropriate and not confusing time to begin teaching reading in Danish is.

Yo boatman, when did your kid start the Chinese reading?

And do you remember when I said that each child develops at their own pace?

And repetition = retention?

My kiddo doesn't read Chinese. And when she speaks it, it's hilarious. With regards to that, she's learning at her own pace. I really don't care if she reads Chinese or not. I'd rather she master 1 thing.

Living in NYC, I've known several holocaust survivors. One woman whose family survived in a Kraut family's attic. And another survived a work camp......

Lemme see if there's anything on them.....

The little one's great-grandparents are/were. One of them is in the newer (like a few years ago) PBS documentary about said camp you mentioned earlier.

Had fish tacos and fries for supper. Nom. Hubs liked the sauce I made which was the part I thought he wouldn't like. It was missing something thought and we can't put our finger on it. (sour cream, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, and fresh onion.) He didn't like the blackened fish so I likely won't do that part again. I personally prefer broiled fished to fried anyhow, but did make a lightly floured pan fried fish the other day that was good, but not for fish tacos.

No photos because it's all gone.

No I'm not a big fish eater so I'm trying to find recipes that I like with fish. I find Mahi and halibut to be good down here but the selection is limited in Colorado. I will NOT buy farmed fish so there is less to choose from still.

Okay I looked at those fish and they have funny teeth. LOL

Porgies, scups, are considered lower class fish. But I dunno how they got classed in such manner, may be it's because it's associated with the blacks down south.

But man I love pan fried porgy. I catch it all day long at the dock and we fry it right there.

It's a blessing to love to eat fish. Farm raised fish, especially species like Talapia....is not healthy. Google how Talapia is raised (from the remnants of the pool after raising striped bass).
