A game? time suck? what? Where was yer wife?

still, glad to know you is alive.

What happen - you and Novembro and MerryTooth get on the same gamepod and start sharing scented oils?

:(

Cary's back, Cary's back ! yay !

My wife was right next to me and getting grumpy because I was so focused on the game so much. Not sure which games they are playing, I was playing Game of War Fire Age. It kept popping up in facebook and one day I downloaded it and started playing. Before I new it, I was a powerhouse player and one of the leaders of an alliance. Granted it was a young kingdom, and there were players much more powerful, but I tell you, that kind of game turns into a job. I spent more time at that than at work! I really knew better, as I gave up those type of games that don't stop even it you're not playing because they're meant to suck you in so hard. I have to say, my wife was quite happy when I told her I got rid of that game on my iPad.

So, I am a little disturbed that google changed its little image because it is my birthday. The internet knows way too much about us.

Oh, and as consolation for being a year older, my mother said "It isn't so bad, think of all the other women your age who aren't married or don't even have a boyfriend yet." What does that have to do with me being older or making me feel better because I'm getting older?

I had that problem with WoW in my younger years, it became like an all consuming obsession. Then again, it is a hard game to play if that isn't what it is for you.

I guess she thinks you should be happy to get a man before you were too old to get one

Happy Birthday

Even when my wife wasn't here, I realized these all consuming games weren't for me. They just want too much out of you. I don't know what possessed me to download it, as I knew better. Maybe if I was bed ridden and single it would be fine.

yep and not even high definition lol. But the strategy was the thing that suckers me in.

We've been married over 3 years, Darnell. And she likes to watch her Filipino TV programs and the occasional chick flick. I have to say, even with my limited understand of Tagalog, those shows are of the lowest production quality out there. I can tell you what's going to happen in the story line a week before they get there. Also she sleeps about 3 hours more a day than I do.

Why don't you give me the quick run down. I ain't searching through 170 pages of this thread to figure out what you've been up to. You haven't even updated your pray for me thread. You reconcile with your wife or get the divorce? I'm guessing it was the latter. Still in school? You get a new 21 year old coed shacking up in you mini-house on campus? Playing sugar daddy to a harem? Rescue a gaggle of illegal Chinese immigrants and put them to work farming mini-farms all over you city?

Happy birthday to the whee man

As to the actions of Mrs T-B, Mrs Prof can spend with the best of them. She'll be getting braces shortly and that is going to really hurt our financial position for a bit. She be grumbling because it means curtailing wild spending on dinners out and clothing. But at least she doesn't cavort with rojo.
