Lol I make my kids pay for it themselves. The second oldest had to pay some this year as he was too lazy to apply for scholarships. :ranting:

The second oldest has a full scholarship.

I have to print it out and sign being that the baby is the owner of the account......pita.....

Sure is!

What is worse I had trust funds for all four in Canada but their father refuses to sign. All that money i saved sitting there and they can't have it.

You and tiff became citizens a month apart

Stretch, he can drain those trust funds.

He could but not sure if he is smart enough to do that. It would be all gone in a heart beat anyways if he did, and I would never know.

The fact that he leaves us alone and doesn't torment the kids it's a small price to pay.

He might think if he cashes it in he will get nailed with child support, since it would be counted as an income.

Is a trust fund different than a UTMA account? Don't you have to document what it is being used for and specify an age that all the money becomes available to the child?

A trust fund can be set up in a thousand ways Troph.

Look at how many times you've heard of a child star's parent used all the money.....
