well, I don't want to discredit Singapore's education system. But it really is limited in it's capacity. They do their best.

you mean singapore's *higher* education system. singapore's primary/secondary/pre-college education system consistently outranks the US. sorry couldn't resist

even so, it's U21 ranking for higher education is in the top 10 (broke through in 2013), right up there with the US, UK, Switzerland, Canada and Denmark. in the detailed rankings, we beat the US for "connectivity"! we are doing our best and we are catching up!

my no pay leave period for my job back home is ending soon and i either have to extend it or end it. and my mom just told me she needs her cataracts out in february and won't be able to cook or clean for a few weeks. so the timing is just right for me to go home, look after my mom for a month or so, and then start work again in singapore. can't wait to hand my notice in to my boss here lol.

Do you guys think it will be a problem that we only have one joint tax transcript? In 2012, I filed head of household and we haven't gotten the W-2s yet for this past year. I mean, if we get a RFE, we should have filed the 2014 ones by then....

• Photocopies of both Minnesota Driver’s Licenses showing same address
• Photocopies of joint health insurance plan cards and coverage statement whilst the family lived in Connecticut
• Joint health insurance application and results for Minnesota
• Photocopy of joint car insurance on a different car
• Photocopies of joint utility bills for the house we currently reside in
• Photocopies of boarding passes for joint trips taken in April/May 2013 and in March of 2014
• Joint tax return transcript for 2013 (For 2012 Nola filed as head of household and W-2s are not yet available to file for 2014)
• Letter from daughter’s school addressed to both
• Photocopy of the Dane's life insurance policy listing Nola as beneficiary and her daughter as contingent beneficiary
• Photocopies of infertility paperwork with both names and current ultrasound
• A selection of statements from joint checking account at Bank
• A selection of statements from joint checking account at Bank and Trust
• A selection of statements from Credit Card with Nola as primary account holder and the Dane as authorized user (transactions listed separately for each user)
• A selection of statements from Credit Card (transactions listed separately for each user)
• Copy of mail and cards addressed to both parties at their addresses in Denmark, in Connecticut, and in Minnesota
• A selection of photos together and with each other’s families
