no of course it's not a home. But I don't think they're living in a car. There is a community that actually live in these truck cabs. Their lives revolve around the truck. And they're reliant on the truck stop for utilities. Some of these truck stops can be pretty nice.

2 hour delay? for school? weather related?

some upstate NY schools are closed because of cold. I never seen that before.

The little egg roll got her lamb binky. It's too soon to tell whether if it works good.

Yeah, for cold.

It was only 2 degrees warmer 2 hours later though.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

Yeah, for cold.

It was only 2 degrees warmer 2 hours later though.

The higher administrative powers were aiming for Many degrees warmer but overshot their estimate, sigh ma'am.

Gonna get colder than the dickens here, too, during the day, brrr man. Expecting only Many (2x2x2x2x2-2-2) degr. F. tonight, wrap pipes man.

Partial Wednesday report, partial see man:

Awoke groggily with eye/sinus trouble, blink and you won't miss it man.

Despite relevant nuking, still experiencing same, irritation man.

Sleepy Mini-B. entered with tablet computer, claiming the need to pipi.

Mini-B. sleepily lurches away, eyes still glued to computer.

Asked of Mini-B., "Don't you have to pipi?"

Mini-B.: "Oh! Yeah! But I'm watching my computer."

Asked of Mini-B.: "Can't you put your computer down while you pipi?"

Mini-B.: "No; I'm watching my computer. I'll use one hand."

Saw year's first hormigas in kitchen, along with a ladybug*, how'd that happen man.

*Thought for the Day, think man: Do male ladybugs have an identity crisis, huh man?

Pointed out ladybug to Mini-B., wee see man.

Cited "Ladybug, ladybug, fly away home; your house is on fire & your children will burn," cite man.

Mini-B. reprovingly said, "Daddy, the ladybug's house ISN'T ON FIRE."

Halfway through, and still unsure of who is to be Humped on this Day, half and no man.
