Other-partial-Monday report, partial-see man:

Sold Many pre-owned toilet seats for $Many, $i man.

Colder than hell outside, brrr man -- nearly down to Many (2x2x2x2x2) degrees F., F man.

Napped with cat under covers, miu and me zzz man.

Awoke from nap to find cat sleeping on contiguous pillow, miu zzz man.

Dished the warsher, domestic man.

Cat sat on lap for longest time for chin-scratches, miu man.

Cat now zonked on contiguous chair and periodically snoring, miu snore man.

Must de-dish the warsher, domestic man.

Cat prep zzz man.

Mornin', Commie-babe with appropriately distributable +1 inventory!

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

his first time ever. first time we met in person, i flew to the US. he didn't have the money to pay for airfare plus accommodation plus time off work plus expenses. he did not have (still does not have) a passport.

he's really come a long way since i met him. more than doubled his income. went from renting crappy rooms to now renting a whole apartment in a nice, safe area. bought a non shitty car. he is also for the first time ever actually putting money aside in a savings account every month. he's stepped up in so many ways. <3

but, yes, he still needs to work on getting a passport lol.

Looks like you are a true GEM!

And have a really good influence on him.

What's your take on this?

My neighbor gets pissed off at his wife, like flipped a lid.

Because the wife's ex husband came over to the house to drop off Christmas presents for his daughter (neighbors wife and her ex have daughter in common). But he did that when my neighbor was at work.

My neighbor thinks the ex is being spiteful.....

ex's should have met somewhere outside of domiciles.

that's it, that's all. removes any lingering doubt.

go somewhere safe, like the episcopal church around the corner.
