Well, Niki-B. is one of the few who is very cute as a non-blonde, si ma'am.

Roots, writ by Alex Haley and starring Ben Vereen, was loved by all or at least Many, si ma'am.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

be careful when mixing drinks inside of yer stomach - usually one hurls the righteous vomit later. if no vomit, you were lucky. take yer hangover and move on, la.


I learned that jet blue provided 1100 round trip fares for free for the outside agencies. We hosted 200 for dinner tonight. There was a 500 motorcycle motorcade from all agencies. 15000 attendance. Impressive turn out.

i not check it yet, but I sincerely hope that deBozio stayed away from all this weekend, doing remote broadcasts instead.


I forgot to mention, the Hong Kong police brought with them, from an anonymous donor in HK, a $500,000 USD check for each of the 2 police officer's families.

wow - deBozio not arrange something similar, at least to match it? how politically insensitive ! Asians are voters and tax payers in his city, too ! Still, this should be a wake up call to deBozio, to learn about other ethnic groups in his tax base. Maybe he needs cultural sensitivity training, and soon? I'd like to see that law-suit, filed, declaring it. Such a hoot !
