Mini-B. not only refused to sleep in his crib; he also refused soothers, independent wee man.

He's getting his own little bed soon -- Mrs. T-B. found a gently used complete twin (with real-wood headboard & footboard, not cheapwood) for only $Many, or half of the original figure. She fit all but the mattress and headboard into the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile;

But you won't be getting an used mattress, you will get him a brand new one, right?

I will never, ever buy an used mattress for a bed... Brrr...

Friday & Saturday reports, see and see man:

Took Mini-B. on errands before incipient rain, me and wee man.

Stopped in at Harbor Freight, we men.

Mini-B. showed Daddy how tape-measures work, wee man.

MIni-B. fascinated by a "right-angle level," see wee man.

Mini-B. confiscated Daddy's free worklight, as with all Many others, wee and sigh man.

Mini-B. fascinated by magnet on back of worklight, see wee man.

Mini-B. insisted on testing worklight constantly once back in T-B.-mobile, EE man.

Took Mini-B. to mall, we men.

Bought Vitamin D at Vitamin World for <$2 with use of incipiently expiring coupon, me man.

Mini-B. carried, and brandished, worklight everywhere, wee man.

Took Mini-B. to play-area, glee man.

Mini-B. comparatively unselfish this time, Daddy glee man.

Took Mini-B. to Arby's for lunch with use of coupons, we men.

Mini-B. insisted on using restroom urinal just like Daddy, wee man.

Dined heartily on gut-bombs, chicken fingers, & French fries with ketchup, we men.

Entered T-B.-mobile shortly before rest-of-day thunderstorming, timing man.

Came home and took naps, wee and me zzz man and me with cat, miu man.

At Many:Many p.m., decided to collect receipts for tax-prep, me man.

At 2:Many a.m., finished first stage of organization, delayed zzz man.

Might come to naught if standard deduction must be taken, uncertain man.

However, is good for one's character, so it's said man.

Rained, deluged, & thunderstormed like a holy baastard all day & night, build Ark man.

No time or surge-protectors to fire up computer, no man.

Intermittently played Wrappers with very eager cat, miu man.

Awoke semi-groggily at Many a.m., me man.

Prepped for errands and ESs, groom man.

Stopped at bank to cash check, wrong branch again man.

Teller who welcomed us greatly during last deposit asked for ID, of me man.

We lost patience and said that he should show us his ID, grrr man.

After all, we have banked there since 1ManyMany0, grrr man.

In future, we shall go geographically astray to visit friendly branch, fed up man.

Drove to first ES, si man; everything half-price, whee man.

Got long, sharrrrrp steak-knife for $Many, OK deal man.

Got Many-pc. queen-sheet set for $Many, good deal man.

ES lady ate the tax as a New Year's present, can't object man.

Saw previously favorite dollar store with "going out of business" sign, sigh man.

Everything Many (2x2x2+2+1) cents less than $1, good start man.

Whole plaza being taken over by nearby university, owner said man.

Bought Many items, whee man.

Might go back and take Mrs. T-B., si man.

Stopped at second ES, bunch of junk man.

Left in time to reach casa by noon:Many, orders of Mrs. T-B. she man.

Mrs. T-B. then departed for inspection of Mini-B.'s potential bed, she see man.

Fed lunch to recalcitrant Mini-B., alternative diet desired wee man.

Mini-B. ended up eating balanced diet of wheat bread & cling peaches in juice, wee man.

Played Pillows with Mini-B., we men.

Watched garbage truck come and go, impressed wee man.

Played more Pillows with Mini-B., we men.

Mrs. T-B. showed up, glee wee man, with half of new bed, half-she man.

Mrs. T-B. wheedled seller down from $Many to half of $Many, glee me re she man.

Mrs. T-B. approved of very gently used mattress, your answer Commie-babe oj tak.

Mrs. T-B. busted our chops about eating all her lunch, news to me man.

We took opportunity to go to resale shop to pick up wicker chairs, discretion man.

Stopped at another ES on way; complete junk, why do they waste our time man.

Retrieved wicker chairs, utilizing Navy retiree's knotting skills, tie-down man.

Returned to calmer Mrs. T-B., what happened to she man.

Went back out, me man.

Retrieved dry-cleaning and went to Aldi, si man.

At casa, unloaded stuff and took nap, everyone else already zzz man.

Tried to catch up on VJ, fruitless man.

Mini-B. highly desirous of interaction, little wee man.

Dished the warsher, usual aftermath of one of Mrs. T-B.'s meals man.

Warshed/dried/folded kitchen rags et al., full load man.

Must de-dish the warsher, mandatory Saturday routine man.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Oooooo... anathema, D ma'am. Cat (latest in a long line) insists on daily wet food and is quite miffed if none is forthcoming, grrr miu man. In fact, we have a minimum of Many palate-pleasing varieties of said noxious glop, miu man.

Especially when you can probably buy him cheap, si ma'am.

1. Here, it was St. Bernards & Maine Coons for hours, oj tak. Later, the storm merely dropped a few last Chihuahuas, arf man.

2. Echo, oj huh? I prefer other manufacturers of lawn equipment, oj see.

Our cat thinks the can stuff is discusting, he would rather eat the dogs food.
