His choice to quit, not mine. Not helping him do something he doesn't want to do. I just have to live through the moodiness.

I'm thinking I would maybe like to try latin dance lessons.

The little baby sure like to sleep during the day and stay up all night.....

Where and how does she sleep during the day, and where and how at night. That might help you figure out a way to get her to sleep at night.

Just a thought though as Lucas is up every 2 hours still

So I go out with everyone in the family to drop off my mother at the aiport. I learn a valuable lesson - when NWS says life threatening whiteout conditions due to blowing snow an cold temperatures, they mean it. End up staying in a hotel near the airport with hopes visibility will improve tomm.

Logan, I'm going to say this the nicest way possible You are driving me nuts! Knock it off please!

Thanks!

This is part of my son's reading lesson today. Our talented and gifted homeschool support group is private because of all the harassment people like us take, remarkably similar to gays before civil rights.

If they came out of the closet, people "nicely" told them to shut up. If they remained silent, homophobia prevailed. It is not an easy choice for people, and most of them choose to stay in the closet in our Talented and Gifted homeschool forum. I do the equivalent of the Gay Rights March and take the catcalls instead. Because this educates people. My wife prefers the closet, sort of - she posts the same stuff on facebook and of course all the people close to us cheer the kids on instead of saying "shut up".

But so what, the family thinks you're great. They'll applaud you not pooping your pants. Dad wants you to see this.

Well that sucks! I remember driving in white out conditions to the airport once. A 1 hr drive took 4. I hope everyone is able to get back home tomorrow.

It's snowing here too.

Try this to see if the snow will let up http://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/dynamic/usa

I loaded a couple of pics from outside the funeral home in to PB....

Ran into a lotta people I know.

ROFL!!!!!

You're so full of it. You're comparing the lack of civil rights to a group of people vs people who don't want to hear about the details of your sons' homeschooling. In your mind if those are equal, I'm honestly flummoxed about what is going on in your brain. Perhaps you've lived in the wilderness too long?

If you want to home school, that's fantastic. If you are proud of your boys, that's awesome and we're happy for you. Do we need to hear in explicit detail about it every time you decide to type in the group? No. Do we need the passive aggressive malarkey that's going along with it too? Absolutely not.

You wanna hear about my girl paying with her Elsa doll instead?

Sleeps in her crib at night. All over in the day.....

Ah that might be it, maybe here bed is too quiet? Do you have one of those white noise machines? How often does she wake up, I remember you saying before it wasn't always for eating.

I home schooled my 4 kids. I'm proud of my kids, 2 are in University doing very well, the youngest will be starting soon and he could of started last year as his school work has been done. But he didn't know what he wanted to do at 16.

So save me your bull about how you're being attacked because you home school.

You're not here being a proud parent you are being annoyingly in your face about how your kids are better then every other child. You attack us when a comment is made and then you come back with some lame excuse about why you are doing what you are doing. And the posters in this thread have mentioned in more ways then one and you can't seem to grasp the fact we don't care what the heck you do with your kids.

Being proud of your kids is great being rude and attacking us because we don't want to hear every little detail of what you are doing is just down right ridiculous!

This is not a homeschool thread where parents are bouncing ideas off each other, or a thread about curriculum, or how terrible the US school system is. Sure we welcome you to come vent and chat with the rest of us complaining on how crappy those things are but get rid of the in your face my kid is better junk!
