Who all to notify that Craig is moving?

He's asked me to post in here to see who all you recommend notifying of his new address/the fact that he's moving to a new country (mostly legal purposes, mail purposes are less important considering his old address is his parent's address). We've got the GST people and then the credit card companies. Anyone else? Any other departments with the Canadian government he needs to inform?

Has he worked in Canada and had EI and CPP benefits deducted from his wages? If so he needs to contact Human Resources Canada - or whatever they are calling themselves now - and provide a change of address. If he has made any contributions to a pension plan through employment he should file a change of address with them. Obtain a copy of his medical reports, tests, annual physical results, etc. from his doctor's office and bring those with him - he can turn them in to his new physician. If he has individual car insurance, notify them of when he is moving - he may be entitled to a refund. Notify the Provincial Health Insurance plan of his date leaving the Province. Notify the bank if he is keeping an account open in Canada. If I think of any others I will post them.

http://www.canada.gc.ca/MGA/intro_e.html One can sign up for an Epass, you can chg ur mailing address with the govt, check past yrs taxes, etc. Must use IE browser (firefox won't work) To initially sign up I belive (i may be wrong) but u require last yrs taxes, as I think u require a certain figure from a certain line #!! Wil state in the directions !
