Me and my roommate attended the cfo seminar this afternoon.

I am really curious about the cfo since I heard a lot of terrible stories about it.

But what I experienced is the total opposite.

It is not scary, I meant, all we did was laughing.

The counselor is nice and the seminar is very informative.

The one on one counseling is awesome!. As long as you know all about your fiance, everything will be okay.

I enjoyed the CFO.

Definitely agree with this. The CFO counselor would ALWAYS focus more on the quiet ones. The ones with the deer in headlights look on their faces. They want to make sure that you can stand up and protect yourself in a foreign country and that you know the person you're marrying well enough.

Might be. All of us there were so nervous and wondering about the whole cfo thing.

But when we started the process, filing up forms is easy, as long as you know your fiance's infos.

No long waiting, no long lines.

We started the one on one first, the counselor is so considerate to let the late comers joined us.

I considered the one on one easy, since the counselor questions. were all about you and your fiance. Nothing else!

The seminar is so much fun, you'll learn a lot. Wish we really have enough time to go on in depth, but they were given specific time to finish everything.

Andwe all got our certificates

and sticker for those with visa.

I totally understand why some applicants were put on hold, I saw one when we went there.

She didn't know what's the exact date of her wedding day. (how come you don't remember it?)

When she was asked to come back, she didn't even know when she attended the CFO.

Also, it doesn't hurt to ask the counselor about filing up forms, I felt guilty on being so hesitant to asked the counselor and decided to copy what others applicants did with their forms,

In short, 3 of us got the same mistakes.
