Bosko, thank you so much for your kind words. I would have been lost myself if it hadn't been for USMSBOW and Laura. I'm very glad to hear everything is moving ahead for you and your partner. I wish you much happiness as well. No children here, though, just puppies. This 43-year-old uterus has been closed for business for a LONG time. Haha.

Hi guys,

Just popping in to let you know about the super cool light at the end of the tunnel.

We got married on Saturday.

Now I dive back into paperwork with AOS. Yay!

This is fantastic news Angela! Congratulations. Think back to the beginning of December, how stressful this whole thing was, now you're married! I'm still waiting for my interview, I think london can take 4-6 weeks after completing the applicant readiness form, which I did last week, still a step in the right direction though

My K-1 fiance just had her interview yesterday March 9, 2015, in Manila. Powerful experience.

Final question was "Are you sure that your American fiance is going to marry you?"

"Yes."

"OK, you are approved."

She was very happy and cried with joy all the way home.

So I am here in the US ready to schedule a flight, but they told her they would deliver the Passport and Visa in about a week.

Is it really only a week???

I finally got my case number from nvc.

What can i do with it now??

happy for you guys!

with the case number, you can check where the package is : https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx Status "ready" means your package is arrived at the embassy (at least e-package is arrived in their system)

The embassy should send you a notice(Packet 3) after they receive your package from NVC.

In many countries, with the case number, you already can reserve medical exam. In turkey I am not sure if you need packet paper actually in hand to reserve. But I guess you don't have to hurry since the embassy there is slow anyways.

So basically waiting for Packet 3 now. Check mail box everyday after the status shows "ready".

Good luck to everyone with upcoming interviews. My fiancee's is this Tuesday, the 17th. Kinda crazy that "the moment" has almost arrived!

It's also interesting that there aren't any new posters on this thread Perhaps CSC got its act together and this is no longer an issue for people.
