How long to get Visa???

My fiance has her K1 fiance visa interview at the Manila Embassy March 9, 2015, this Monday at 7:30 am. Assuming it goes well, as she has all the documents we believe are needed, when will they give her the actual Visa? Same day? 1,2,3 days? Has anyone heard how long that is taking at this time? She will be flying to USA as soon as the visa is obtained. Would like to book a flight ticket.

Eh, I think you posted these questions on the wrong thread.

It has been 77 days since NOA2 and NVC still doesn't have our case. We are doing everything we can to get help in locating our case and we are now waiting to hear from the following people who are trying to help us:

1) Senator Cruz

2) Congresswoman Johnson

3) Senator Cornyn

4) nvcresearch@state.gov

5) USCIS Service Request

6) USCIS Ombudsman

It seems that either you are one of the 95% of the cases that easily pass from NOA2 to NVC in about 1 to 4 weeks, or you are one of the unlucky 5% of the cases that take 3 to 4 months from NOA2 to NVC, and that is only after getting help from someone to find your missing case. We seem to be in that unlucky 5% bunch, but I know we will eventually get through this and that it will be worth all of our time and patience when we are together again.

You are on the right track. It may have been sent to nrc by 'mistake' although that is usually a csc thing not tsc.

Took me 4 months noa2 to nvc.

I'm not convinced that outside help speeds things in reality. It didn't for me. But it's good to make those contacts. Maybe they'll repair the system....some day.

Thank you for your encouragement. I think you are right about it possibly going to the wrong place. It seems that cases are occasionally missent to National Records Center (NRC) instead of National Visa Center (NVC).

I'm hoping that our case is found and at NVC by the 4 month mark which will be 2014-03-18.

Sorry, what is the correct thread, and how can I search for a thread topic?

Your question is obviously specific to the PI not this thread. Go to the Philippine portal. Read the posts there and then post if you don't find your answers.

Or maybe post at the Armenian portal since that's what shows on your timeline. ...

Congratulations Yamen!!!! From here on out, you will be surprised with just how fast the process begins to move, as the guy from NVC told me when we got our case number, lightning quick, and he wasn't lying......fiancé already has her interview date set for March 24!!!! And to think, about a month ago the NVC didn't even receive our petition yet from USCIS CSC! Keep your Faith, Hope, & Love alive!!!
