The interview stage. Everything else is done. The consulate scheduled the interview for March 17th. It was a lot later than we expected, since most Indonesia timelines here on VJ have interviews no more than 2-3 weeks after the embassy has received the application. Oh well, at least there is light at the end of the tunnel!

That's a good news to cheer me up!!???

usmsbow, quick question, so when checking your case status on the ceac website with our NVC case #, right now it says at NVC, when it is sent, what does it say, what kind of information does the site provide you when it eventually gets sent to the embassy ? Thank you for all of your help!!!

It will say "In Transit" after NVC sends it, then it will say "Ready" when it reaches the embassy. Mine was "In Transit" for about a week.

Questions: what documents as the petitioner do I need to fill out prior to the interview date ? DS-260, or affidavit of support ? Just want to know so I can fill these out and send them to my fiance

Do the i134 affidavit of support. The beneficiary will need to submit the DS 160 (you could fill it out together or start on it for them).

For a K1, They will definitely need I-134 WITH all supporting evidence with packet 3. Each embassy is different regarding specifics included with packet 3. After you return that pile of data in to the embassy you should get a packet 4. That will list what to bring to the interview. Assemble as much evidence as possible showing a recent and historical relationship, especially photos together over time.

Right on Sean!

Yeah, you know now not to hold your breath while this process moves to another government entity.

I bet you wish your petition never visited the CSC. I certainly do.

I wonder how accurate the stats page on VJ can be for the CSC since there's no way to input frequent 'to NRC by mistake' errors nor to enter a second 'updated' NOA 2.

Update I was one of the long waiting people waiting almost 90 days for CSC to send the papers to NVC through the long and grueling process I am happy to say that my fiancé had her interview in manila philippines on the 23rd and was told she passed hopefully it doesn't take long for the visa passport to be sent then she has to go for her pre departure seminar in Cebu then she can come to the US.. thank you to angela and usmbow for questions that I had and that helped through this grueling process. For all those that are waiting be patient your time will come. As for the interview she had a nice lady who was easygoing and didn't grill her. They didn't even ask her for my affidavit of support or pay stubs or job verification letter I was like wow, good luck to all and there journeys.
