I received similar info reg my September approval.

I think i would be a fool to believe this after all the lies presented to us all. The only thing i'll believe at this point is something in writing from NVC or the embassy. I'm still going to hound them though.

I believe we are caught up in some sort of internal political game. We are being used for their gain. They don't have enough personnel after changes occurring due to immigration reform and decisions by Obama so they're using us as tools.

Yes, they want you to contact congress and the CSC director. They can use this to get more funding.

Maybe conspiracy theory but that doesn't mean it's not true.

BTW I worked for the feds for over 20 years and I've seen this trick played out many times.

It sucks....

I dislike most conspiracy theories but I do know how government people work. And this makes sense.

On delays. Been told our case is sitting in CIS 'staging area' waiting to be shipped 'soon' to NVC.

Laura was given a story similar to this.

Well I think I can speak for everyone here: we all have received responses from our service requests. USCIS is dependable in that regard. Of course will it be give you any useful info? Probably not.

Well the good news: I just found out NVC received my case today!! Thank god!

Of course I don't know if NVC will send it back to CSC since my approval has now expired. The person on the phone did not know the answer to that unfortunately.

So those of you who were told your file was sent to NVC in mid-December, call NVC, your case might have arrived today!

Holy #######! Yes! This is the best news today! Finally. I just took a really deep breath for you. I hope to hell it doesn't get sent back.

I got this back from NVC - exactly 1 month after I made inquiry

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center received your inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. Unfortunately we do not have a record of receiving your approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). To assist you in determining the location of your petition the NVC will contact USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition.

Sincerely,
Jess

Basically I now know what I have already known for 3+ months - they haven't received it yet - Duahhhh!

Congratulations to all who are now at the NVC level or at least received reapproved. I haven't acheived either one. My approval expires tomorrow.

Migraines are getting worse. Thanks CSC for making this such an exciting process. And I thought all I would need to do is sit and wait.

Yeah, SMB22. Her signature indicates it was sent back to TSC. The case is from 2012 though.

That's the only one that I'm aware of.

I just talked to USCIS and they said my I-797 approved 11/3, was "Pulled Back" and had to be re-evaluated. It was Reapproved 1/9/15 - last Friday. He said a new I-797 will be sent and it "SHOULD" be on the way to NVC within a week or 2. A week or 2 to drop in the mail?????? Unbelieveable....

Got similarly informed reg. My case today from an immigr. Officer however she said it could take 30 days. On the other hand, she was psychotic -insisting I spoke with her yesterday and she had that in her computer. I had no contact with anyone there since last week and never spoke with her before. She's a very bad liar. I don't believe anything she told me.

It does appear that my 9/19 approval has been changed to 1/9/15 though.

Can't say whether that's good or bad at this point.

Could this all just be a big coverup for some egregious errors made by CSC? Will we ever know the truth?

Maybe need to foia it in 10 years if I live that long. Not sure, what with the stress and sleeploss considered. Hehe..
