Hello all,

A simple question...when I go for the interview at the consulate in Montreal, is my daughter from a previous relationship required to attend as well? I'm guessing that the answer is no judging from what I've read in other posts but would like to confirm. I understand that the child does need to have a medical, just as I do.

Also - once in the US, is the child (a teenager) authorized to work just as I will be?

Thanks to all who respond

Consulate specific... My consulate age 14 or older required... under 14 optional.... Check your consulate website or P3 information. K-2 has no automatic work authorization incident to status, you will need to apply

YMMV
