Henia,

No "goodies" for men?

Yodrak

Welll ummmmmmmm I guess I forgot to add that... just check OTHER if that applys to you
He's 6'4" or 6'5", so I have to say his height was the first thing I noticed. And yes, looks were definitely a factor
Wow your husband is tall too... I always thought MENA men were kinda on the short side, until I met my husband. Now I have neck aches

We met while my fiance was a friar (like a monk) and I was a missionary waiting to become a sister (like a nun), we were friends and co-workers like that for 2 years. He left and went back to France in 2004, I left and returned home a few months later (we were both unhappy in that way of life)... we kept in touch as friends... 8 months later, we fell in love. So, looks had nothing to do with it - it was more a surprise than anything else!

For those who chose that looks are not a factor, how does that work? I'm not saying anything other than that I can't imagine not being attracted to my SO, and looks are a big part of that. Were you not interested in their looks and then later were?

Or do you just mean that you liked their looks but would have chosen them if they were hideous but had the same personality?

Of course looks have something to do with initial attraction, but without the strong soul connection that we have and the inner intimacy his good looks would not sustain our relationship, which is the same from his side of things. And of course I am completely attracted to his beauty and find him to be the most handsome man on this earth.

When I first met my husband two years before we really got to know each other, I already though he was very handsome.

The day we noticed there was more, he explained some feature on my cellphone and that's when I noticed his hands- he has really really beautiful hands.

So I guess, before I noticed his eyes, I noticed the hands.

short history:

2001 - met in Germany

April 2003 - fell in love

Aug 2004 - go to the US for internship

Feb 2005 - both return to Germany

Aug 2006 - getting married

DCF timeline:

09/01/2006 - filed the petition in Frankfurt

09/06/2006 - medical in Frankfurt

09/26/2006 - faxed checklist

10/05/2006 - received interview invite

11/01/2006 - INTERVIEW in Frankfurt - approved!

11/04/2006 - VISA IN HAND!!

12/21/2006 - POE San Francisco and ON TO SEA!
