Not even after taking his class would I be able to decipher the mumbo jumbo you wrote.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You extend a little effort, surrender your mind to the professor and then someone else can do it for you. You're good man. Hang in there.

Responding to a high schooler playing on the internet during lunch break is useless.

You have not yet achieved Borg status, so resistance is not yet futile. Hang in there though. It's better to shoot for the moon and hit the lamppost than to not try at all.

That's quite a leap there J.

You think? <_<

Explain to me what this means. It has nothing to do with nothing therefore not saying anything.

The professor was trying to make a point. I've had the same issue when my kids were at school and some teacher taught them the adulterated version of the pledge.

Some college students are blasting their professor for forcing his politics on them by making them recite what they are calling an "anti-American" version of the Pledge of Allegiance.

On "On The Record" tonight, Caleb Bonham, editor of Campus Reform, explained that this occurred at Metropolitan State University in Denver, where Professor Charles Angeletti had his students recite an amended pledge during his American Civilization class.

FoxNews.com has the full text of the "pledge":

"I pledge allegiance to and wrap myself in the flag of the United States Against Anything Un-American. And to the Republicans for which it stands, two nations, under Jesus, rich against poor, with curtailed liberty and justice for all except blacks, homosexuals, women who want abortions, Communists, welfare queens, treehuggers, feminazis, illegal immigrants, children of illegal immigrants, and you, if you don't watch your step."

"It's a completely different Pledge of Allegiance," Bonham said. "And they're having to pledge allegiance to a racist, homophobic, sexist America that is in the name of Jesus, that hates Communists and women who want to get abortions."

Bonham said that Angeletti's strong political statement is contrary to the university's values.

Bonham added that Angeletti said that it was meant to be a silly icebreaker for the class, but it was also meant to teach an alternative perspective of patriotism in America.

"This is what we're seeing all across the country," Bonham said. "And we're concerned about what students are being taught."

Watch the clip above.
