Hello fellow December filers!

Concurrently filed I-130/I-485 here. We sent our papers on December 27. Delivered December 29. We received 10 text messages and 10 emails from USCIS on January 2. We're hoping for the hard copy of our receipt in 7-10 days.

Yes we received 16 of each. Curious. We are not able to access case Status Online on the USCIS Website using the MSCXXXXXXX numbers they gave us. Anyone else having the same problem? This is a month AFTER receiving the NOA1 in writing

Hello guys! Maybe somebody can help me, i sent my package back in dec 15th and was delivered on dec19th and up to today nothing has happened. I havent received any answers yet. I check online all the time if my check its been cashed out but nothing yet. I am kind of an odd case though, i already have an approved I130 so i just sent the i485 package. I am married to a us citizen..

How long do you guys think that i should wait until i give the uscis folks a desperate phone call? Lol. If somebody knows something i would appreciate the support

Hello Burusc, we are in the same boat. I had an approved I-130 and I sent the Adjustment package with a copy of the approved I-130 on December 16, it was delivered on December 17 and still no text, no email or no letter. My file was at NVC so I'm thinking they're waiting on the original file that's the only thing I can come up with. Hoping we hear something soon all the best.

You guys just need to wait, I guess! If you don't receive a notice in 30 days you call them. Hopefully it'll come faster.

Update on my case: I received a notice today that USCIS mailed me a Request for Evidence

I was hoping it was an interview notice when I saw the text message... unfortunately not. I'm thinking it might be related to money, because my husband did not have enough to sponsor me. It was off for like $100.00. I then added my car (paid in full) as an asset. I also translated my birth certificate and there was no statement or anything. We'll see! Waiting for the notice now...

Thanks Mrs Hopkins I hope so too. Hello Burusc finally I hear from USCIS about my case today both text and email so now I'm waiting on the hard copies to see what's next but you should hear from them pretty soon. I will keep the group posted all the best.

So yesterday was the FingerPrint/Picture session. It was impressive indeed. Fast, efficient and courteous. (I rather suspect that the center in Port Chester, NY in Upper Westchester County, New York was an outsourcing.) They even took the time to hand us a slip of paper asking for OUR feedback on the experience. I almost fell off the chair in amazement.

The whole process took about 5 minutes...now on the waiting.....

David, that's great. I had a good experience in the Manchester, NH office as well. Everyone very polite and service was fast. As you all read, I walked in early for my biometrics and wasn't really given a hard time.

I'm happy you guys had a good experience, David: your coment is hilarious, Im glad you didnt fell off the chair lol. So my good news is that I received the email tonight.. In my package I sent the form G1145 in the back, at the end of all the requirements, copies and forms and I was a little hesitant that they would not accept that specific form since everywhere is clearly stated that it has to be located at the front of the package but at the same time Im glad they are not that uptied. At least with those kind of honest mistakes. I cant wait for my appoinment. My email has my case number but They recommend me to not look online until i receive the 797.. Which is kind of killing me.

Can somebody tell me if I will receive the date for the fingerprint appoinment in that notice?

I'm glad you received your text/email now Burusc. You will be getting the hard copies of your receipts soon. Then another waiting period for your Biometrics appointment.

I received my NOA1 last week and now waiting for my Biometrics notice. Hoping to get it next week.
