Thanks I was wondering coz I heard ppl get in within 2 weeks of getting the noa1....

Yes I heard the same thing. Nothing in the mail., Even the MSC number says invalid in the USCIS Case Status webpage and on the phone as well. The Tier 1 person said everything is fine..

Has anyone received their biometric appointments? I receive 3 receipt numbers but nothing for biometric

Dec 8: Application recvd by USCIS

Dec 12: Text/e-mail of NOAs

Dec 18: Hard copy of NOAs

Dec 20: Biometrics appointment letter for 12/31

Dec 22: Walked in for biometrics

The case status says biometric fee accepted. . N I got the appointment letter on dec 26th

Hi jomonation,

The website simply says the same thing since I received my Notices of Action. That the fingerprint fee was accepted for I-485, and that all the other forms have been accepted and that they will contact me as to what do to next.

The biometrics appointment was pretty simple. As I said, I walked in a few days early, my original appointment was supposed to be tomorrow! I got there at around 2:30pm, as I walked in the guards asked if I had an appointment, I said yes biometrics. They walked me on the metal detector and I was all set. Arrived at the room where biometrics is taken, the lady asked me for the letter. I handed it to her and said, "Yeah, my appointment is on the 31st but I'm going to travel, would you take me in today?" she replied saying that they usually need your itinerary to prove you're going to travel. I told her we were going by car and it is New Year's Eve, many people travel. She said ok no problem fill this out and have a seat. She gave me a clipboard with a form that asked for my name, alien number, address and phone number. She only requested the appointment letter and my ID. Then they called me a few minutes later, they took fingerprints of all 10 fingers and a picture. Very easy. Then the lady stamped my appointment letter saying I came in for fingerprints. They were empty, there was 1 person having their fingerprints taken.

If you think you may need your marriage license or any other doc, take it. I took all my documents in case they asked for it. Some people were required to show more than an ID! Good luck and Happy New Year, guys!

PS: No update so far after biometrics.

Hello fellow December filers!

Concurrently filed I-130/I-485 here. We sent our papers on December 27. Delivered December 29. We received 10 text messages and 10 emails from USCIS on January 2. We're hoping for the hard copy of our receipt in 7-10 days.
