hi, Congrats, your status for EAD will change likely tomorrow or the day after with the tracking number, depending on when the usps pick it up and process it, mine actually changed after the card was delivered.

On another note, update on my case so far it has been 3 whole months since my status for the AOS has stated that it is ready to be scheduled for an interview, I'm in New York and maybe looking to move for a Job in another state, I'm thinking of calling and asking when my interview is likely to be.

Hey guys, I got a text update today that my EAD card was mailed how do I get a tracking number?

Yup, that's right. You get many texts. Card in production. Card mailed. Post office picked up card. Here is tracking number. It kinda goes like this! Another couple of days for you to get the #. Then it gets to your house in priority mail, 2 days.

I believe it should be Queens, when I check it seems I could be in either one between the Long island and Queens local office. I strongly believe it will be Queens though.

I believe people in Queens do their interview in Long Island and I heard it's the slowest office but that's where I'll be going too. Update on my EAD that it was picked up by USPS.

Hi Mayfield. Our status are the same. Since 2/4/15 it has changed to " Ready to Schedule for Interview", but until now no update. My local field office is in Baltimore, MD. I hope we'll get an update soon.

For those waiting for AOS in the New York City office:

Someone on this forum was "ready to scheduled interview" as of 1/13/15 and they got the interview date on 4/21/15 (scheduled for 5/22/15 I think, it's always one month later anyway). This should give you an idea of the wait time left.

I am "ready to schedule interview" since 2/4/15, so I "should" have received my interview date 8 days ago, but still nothing...

Also, can someone please explain this to me:

Field Office Processing Dates for New York City NY as of: March 31, 2015

Form / Form Name / Processing Timeframe:

I-485 / Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status / August 16th 2014

it was posted on May 12th (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do)

in the first scenario, I thought exactly that as well, but would mean I should have received an invite 2 days ago and I did not still haven't, Its really frustrating because I have so much that I want and need to do in terms of travel,I have given up on guessing when it should be, or when it will be, and will just put everything on hold and wait for it to come.

As for the

Form / Form Name / Processing Timeframe:

I-485 / Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status / August 16th 2014

this basically means that the local office you checked, as at march 31st the last 1-485 they completed was submitted in August with August 16th being the priority date of that application.

I personally believe that either

1) they are intentionally lying

2) they don't update it properly

3) us getting our green card isn't the complete end of their own processing ( meaning that even after we get our card they still have backroom processes going)

just my guess.

In my opinion, we can use previous cases and timelines to have an idea of when things could get approved, but it varies. With that in mind, the bast thing for you guys to do is just wait or call or go for an infopass appointment! My process was different from many others that I was following, including people from the same office. Good luck.
