We got the EAD card! YAY! Our case status for the I-765 changed the delivery date from the Post Office to March 3rd, so I knew something was going on. I had put a hold on all of our mail for the next 30 days, because I was losing so much mail I would rather just go pick it up once a week at the post office. So when the delivery date was updated, I knew they must have finally found the envelope. I went to the post office last night, and sure enough, there was the priority mail envelope with the EAD card. Now I can stop stressing out a bit. It's been a rough two weeks with other stuff going on, so I was just not handling the situation well.

First Entered US with M-1 Student Status: 02/01/2013

Applied for M-1 Extension in January 2014

Notified of denial of extension in April 2014

Applied for Reinstatement of M-1: 05/20/2014

Reinstatement Denied: 2/26/2015, due to pending immigrant application

Got Engaged: July 2014
Married: 11/22/2014

Adjustment of Status from M-1 Status to Permanent Resident:

AOS mailed by USPS Priority Post: 12/10/2014

AOS delivered: 12/15/2014

No interview here either... Now I'm focusing on the SSN arriving, I'm not stressing over RFE response and interview date... We can travel and work! It's better than nothing :)

Infopass apointment experience:

So, I went for an Infopass appointment today at my local office in Manchester, NH. It is a small office, small state, it is never busy. Love that about small places. That's why I love NH.

I was seen right away as there was no one there but me. lol.

IO was a lady, I have seen her before when I went there, she does interviews :P so I asked her about my I-485. I received an RFE in Jan and sent it back Feb 2nd. It has now been 32 days since they received my Response and no updates yet. She took my receipt number and looked up on her computer. Then she said, yeah they received your response and now you just wait... I was like 'I know that' in my mind. Then she went and asked someone else how long does it take to schedule the interview once NBC sends them the case. The other IO said 35 days. Then I told her my husband will be going away for Annual Training (Army) for a month and we would really appreciate going for the interview before (July). I asked if maybe April? She said - we're not looking at April, hun... I asked her if she could contact them to speed it up, she said not... I asked if I could call she said NBC does not have a direct line (we know) just like the local office does not have it (we also know lol). I was trying to find stuff to ask her. Then, she tried to look up and see if I was on the 'queue' for the interview, if NBC had dropped me on their waiting line and I was not there.

Needless to say that this appointment was useless, but I wanted to go, who knows. It could have helped. It might help someone else. Always go if you can.

Now I will wait until the 60 days pass by, that is the deadline they give to answer your RFE (unless you have an interview which I will have but who's gonna say)

April 3rd I'll be calling them!!!

To be continued... (sorry if my writing is a little confusing, I'm probably not following chronologically I need another English Composition class those are the best lol)
