Hey guys, congrats on EAD/AP approval! YAY! Still waiting on mine.

Whoever has had their EAD/AP approved or 'in production', please share the date your application was received by USCIS.. I want to compare with mine.

Also, those of you still waiting for EAD/AP, I called USCIS today and they informed me that after 75 days of wait, you can call them and they are able to open a 'service request/inquiry' for you. Don't know if it helps but it's worth a shot. I'll be reaching 75 days this Saturday so if I don't miraculously receive anything by mail this week, I'll be calling them Monday morning :)

Anyone know if the time frame for EAD/AP changes if the biometrics were done later than normal? We didn't receive our first biometrics notice, so we had to get a second appointment scheduled. I'm just not sure if that changes the wait time or not? We're getting close to 75 days as well, our application arrived at USCIS 3 days after yours, MrsHopkins. But we only just got biometrics done last week, so I don't know if its reasonable of us to expect anything yet.

Hi a1000elephants,

Ugh, I read that. So unfortunate!!!

I believe that yes it would delay a little bit the production of the EAD, but hey it says '75 days after receipt' so you are entitled to inquiry. Too bad that biometrics was late, their fault! They still need to give you a service inquiry. Don't even mention your late biometrics.

And at last, it takes what, 1-2 days for FBI to get back with your background? Plenty of time! Do call them :)

Good idea Mrs Hopkins.

And I would encourage everyone to show their timeline right on their posts as you and I have done, rather than merely have this info hidden back in their profiles.

Exactly! I love timelines!!! Let's share!!

LOL, awesome! Only saw it later...

That's great!!!!! I dunno but it should be a few days now... Better than no change at all.

Checked this morning and my I-485 status has now changed to ready to schedule interview! Phew! So that solves my whole predicament about the status' saying a notice was returned after going in for biometrics. It just took them a week to update and realize that there was an overlap. It's nice to know that all the steps are done, and now we can just wait for the interview appointment.

Update on EAD:

I called USCIS today because it has been 77 days since they received my I-765, they opened up a service inquiry for me and another update showed up on my case:

"As of February 23, 2015, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number T1B***********, is currently not assigned for processing."

Has anyone received this?
