How long 'til I get the visa packet back?

So my husband's visa came in the mail last Thursday as I had posted on a previous thread. The error on his Immigrant Data Summary sheet (wrong birthplace) was indeed serious enough that they had to instruct me to return the packet/passport as soon as possible so they could reissue his visa.

Does anyone know how long this will take? I sent the packet Friday and it arrived this morning at the consulate. I can't find many threads on this stuff, which I find a little bizarre.

Myself: US citizen; Husband: German citizen

-(then fiance) H-2B work visa application terminated due to qualification difficulties in Aug. 2010.

-(then fiance) B-2 tourist visa denied due to lack of strong ties to Germany in Sept. 2010.
-Third ESTA denied due to his suspiscious visa status on Oct. 15, 2012.
-B-2 tourist visa approved on Nov. 16, 2012!

-Extended German residence permit obtained Aug. 23, 2014. (to qualify for DCF)

-Husband's new German passport picked up Aug. 28, 2014. (Old one expires 2015)

-I-130 packet sent to Frankfurt (DCF) Aug. 29, 2014!

-NOA1 issued Sept. 9, 2014 (received Sept.13)

-RFE regarding evidence of bona fide marriage received along with NOA1

-RFE reply packet sent to Frankfurt Sept. 30, 2014

-E-mail response (NOA2) received by USCIS Frankfurt on Oct. 23, 2014 (Petition APPROVED Oct. 20!!!) :dancing:

-Paper NOA2 received in the mail Oct. 29, 2014

-Case number assigned by IV unit Oct. 30, 2014 (Received by email Nov. 3)

-Paper "Packet 3" arrived in mail Nov. 4, 2014

-DS-260 and Document Delivery Registration submitted to Frankfurt Nov. 4, 2014

-Mailed in priority date request found on Packet 3 to IV Unit Nov. 5, 2014

-IV ("Packet 3") package sent to Frankfurt Nov. 17, 2014

-Medical completed by Frankfurt panel physician Nov. 17, 2014

-Visa approved, issued AND picked up by the courier all within 7 hours, Dec. 3, 2014 :dance:

Hi,

Yes this is not a big problem. My mom had the same issue.They corrected her biographic page and re issued the visa.

Well we still plan on spending Christmas with his family in Germany one last time. We want to fly out Jan. 18th-ish. Poor hubby had to cry a little bit last night after his grandpa came to our apartment for a visit and gave him a nice, encouraging pep talk that he wishes him all the best in America, etc. before giving him 300 Euros just so "he doesn't worry so much". :)

Update: They got the package yesterday and the CEAC status changed to Ready yesterday around 11am. Today it changed to AP around the same time, but now it says Issued. I can't believe how fast Frankfurt responds to this stuff, haha. Let's just hope they weren't rushed again and made another mistake. :P

Yeah, well the Frankfurt embassy works a lot faster. They had already opened my packet and reset our case status to Ready just a couple hours after DHL shows it was delivered. Today it read issued, so it should be here tomorrow or Thursday.

Update: Got the visa packet back today and all is perfect on the summary sheet and the visa itself! Already paid the USCIS ELIS fee and plan on booking our flights tonight when hubby finally gets home from his LAST DAY OF WORK!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:
