We filed our I-129 F on 12-20-2014 it was signed for at Lewisville Texas. Hope to hear something but figure after New Year!!!

12/20/2014 Sent I-129F to Texas Lockbox

12/22/2014 Signed by Lockbox Staff

12/24/2014 Text and Emailed that it was received by TSC

12/29/2014 Got Hardcopy of NOA 1 in mail.

01/26/2015 Got Hardcopy of NOA 2 in mail

02/05/2015 Called NVC had a case number given to me.

02/18/2015 Case sent to Thailand Embassy.

Hi all! We sent our I129 on the 12th and just got the email and text confirmation today that we are being routed to CSC! Yay let the fun begin!!!!

That's great news! Congrats about CSC!

I have a similar timeline - let the fun begin, indeed. Fingers crossed for speedy approvals.

It seems quiet lately - do you think the processing centers are working this week? Or shutting down until the New Year?

I keep checking every day but am not hopefully for news before the New Year...

According to there payroll schedule they are only closed on Federal holidays

So I called USCIS today about the hard copy and according to the representative, if they do not issue a hard copy of the receipt number within the 10 days, there will be no hard copy (duplicate) because the receipt number is already given and no further information has to be given. Basically the representative stated that the particular location the application was sent to does not always send a hard copy of the receipt number if the receipt number was email and/or text to you already.

That is strange, cause they tell they suggest that you wait to get the hard copy to check the status, and that they mailed out the hard copy... I dunno, its still alittle frustrating..

The entire process is very frustrating. And you're in the TSC so be prepared for about a 6 month wait for your NOA2. Monumentally frustrating. There is a rumor that TSC is supposed to pick up the pace beginning in January, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I've emailed and sent hard copy letters to all 3 of my federal representatives complaining about the discrepancy in processing times. Encouraging others to do the same.

Which town is your fiance from, btw? My Elena is from Moscow.

Anyway.

9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

By executive order government workers are getting the 26th off too.

Yeah, that's correct but if little importance really. As a former federal employee, my experience was that from about mid-December until mid-January it was difficult to get anything done because so many people had taken off for the holidays. After about 6 or 7 years of that, I gave in and started doing the same. Just got tired of sitting around with so many empty cubes. Heck there wasn't even anyone to go to lunch with usually. Lol

Anyway. I don't plan on seeing much movement until then. But who knows, they might surprise us...yeah. [sigh]

We sent our package in on December 13th, 2014 and I received the NOA1 today (December 23rd, 2014) with a re-routing to the California Service Center!
