Dispair. I feel so heartbroken. We were just two weeks away from being together again and they are going to make her take a sputum culture. She doesn't have TB. She's been tested for it several times before. But some jerk is seeing things on an xray so now we are apart till may or june. I can't express in words how horrible this process is on my life. I hate our government for doing this to people and families. They should be ashamed.

Hello everyone :)

I saw this website while looking up info on the K-1 visa and saw this forum thread so I decided to join on the conversation. My fiance' lives in Italy and I live in Pennsylvania. I mailed the I-129F on December 3rd,2014 and USCIS received it on December 8th. I believe I received the I797 on December 11th and they said that they were forwarding it to............. Texas Service Center :crying::crying::crying:

My fiance' and I see all these cases being approved at the CSC so quickly and we suffer... but all we can do is wait.....

I'll update whenever we get our NOA2 ... hopefully soon...

We got our MNL number on Feb 10th but it is still at NVC. Hope this week we can see it move to the Embassy, she got her medical done today at SLEC and DS-160 done, just need the Visa package to make it to Manila. I agree,Dec has been a good month. Good Luck to all

Hi! Question : is it fine to schedule the medical and interview even if you haven't got your packet 3 yet? They don't require either the email or the hard copy?

Once you get your MNL number and ID number from NVC you can move on to your medical and schedule appointment.

Follow Hank's link at the flashing arrow on his page, covers everything you need to know about Manila, there is no package 3 from Manila embassy, it says so on their website.

Good Luck

Lol, sorry, who's hank again?

Sorry, it's just that a friend of mine got approved last November and she says they ask for the email or NVC letter when you get your medical?

May did not get asked for it at her medical. We just followed Hank's guide for Manila.here is the link to his site.

He contributes a lot to the Philippine forum and to others as well and put together this excellent guide for going through the visa process in Manila

Good Luck

we got our packet 3 in the mail yesterday and mailed it out today.

Mailed back:

DS160 confirmation page

checklist

application statement form

It's still confusing that the checklist says the i134 affidavit of support needs to be notorized but the uscis instructions specifically says it doesn't need to be.

My fiancé submitted his forms, paid the visa fee and readiness 24 hours after our status said ready on the CEAC website. His medical is booked for 26 February. All packet 3 is for the UK is a letter that says to go online and fill out those forms anyway.

Hello, I need to make sure if the form I-134 affidavit of support should be notarized or not ? I have already sent all papers to my fiance i london, but I wanna send it again if it needs notorization.
