I wish CSC would notify you as well. I guess it's a catch-22.

historically CSC never notifies you from what i see in other months thread discussions. Hence why we have to hound them for the case number to find the updates ourselves or wait in agony until packet 3 arrives in the mail lol.

12/6/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS Priority mail / 12/10/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox / 12/15/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received

12/22/14 - NOA1 hard copy received / 1/2/15 - NOA2 Email received / 1/13/15 - NOA2 hard copy received

1/26/15 - NVC Mailed to embassy / 1/29/15 - Embassy received package / 2/25/15 - packet 3 received

I think if you wait until Friday you'll definitely have a case number assigned by then. Good luck!

Hi Everyone! So the past few days we've been trying to get thru to NVC, but when my fiancé called, the recording said the office was closed? It was a Monday so.. Okay.

Anyone else had this problem?

I think if you wait until Friday you'll definitely have a case number assigned by then. Good luck!

Oops, didn't see these posts. Are they closed due to bad weather and they'll be operational by Friday? Or is Wednesday or Thursday still good days to call?

Someone I met on here has the same NOA2 date as me and received their case number today. So, here I am sat at quarter past 7 on hold... only took 45 attempts to get through! Ha! Never give up, never surrender!!!!! ;)

For some reason when I am trying to track my case, it's not returning any data? Is this normal? My case number was assigned on 30 January.

good to hear Chris! Then you packet should be arriving in the UK probably this week or early next week. Start looking into filling out the DS160 form online too. https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/

If they don't have your case this week-I would say there's high probability they'll have it next week. I was exactly 2 weeks from the electronic NOA2.

Everytime I check my case number it shows the same thing follow the intsructions. Does this mean they`re still processing the case and it is still with them. The NVC phone number is bussy everytime is this normal.thks

12/22/2014 Sent the I-129f package to Dallas Service Center

12/23/2014 Texas Service Center assigned for the package
12/29/2014 Received text message and electronic NOA1 that indicated my case will be transfered to California Service Center
01/03/2015 Received the hard copy of NOA1
01/15/2015 The petition approved
01/23/2015 NOA2 Hard copy received

01/29/2015 NVC received the package
01/30/2015 Case number obtained
