I Checked on the ceac website today, and it now says my case is in transit to the consular section and the interview date was provided to me by the Nvc. Two questions... Does that mean they already assigned an interview date? I haven't received one yet. Also.. For the life of me I can't figure out the Dhl tracking. I keep getting an error. Can anyone help? Tia!

You don't schedule the interview date. It's assigned to you when you return the signed forms from packet 3. You'll get packet 3 from the consulate with the checklist items.

What was the date your packet was sent out from the NVC? You put that as the ref number on the dhl site. The spaces are important in the shippers ref. You have to get lucky to find it as you just keep changing the dates since they don't ship everyday but in batches. post-196867-0-02258800-1422667216_thumb.jpg

I finally got through to someone on NVC after another 30x calling and 1:10min wait and got my case number! It looks like they shipped out our packet on Jan 26 and checking on the CEAC site it already says "ready" status! I guess now we just need to wait for packet 3 to arrive anyday now! :dancing:

Yay! What did the letter say?? Did they specify anything about what to bring the the embassy or what exactly is in packet 3?

it told me what I already know, along with my number and says go to (website) to find out more information on what to do next, not alot at alI just told me that they have my application basically. Edited by liamworrad

Can someone tell me how will I know whether my case was sent to the embassy or not , should I call them to ask. Thank you

Call NVC and get your case number and invoice number. Then go to the CEAC site and put in the case number and it will tell you if NVC has mailed your packet to your embassy yet: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

It will say in transit, administrative processing, or ready. Later after the interview it'll be like: Administrative Processing ==> Ready ==> Administrative Processing ==> Issued...received visa

The DHL trick works great. I just saw my papers land at the Manila sorting facility! I'm praying my love gets her SSS ID or Voters ID very soon so she can get her passport. I'm traveling back out to the Philippines for work soon (I'm very lucky) and I am really hoping before the end of February we can schedule her embassy interview so I can be there with her. We're so excited.

This site has been great. Thanks to all of you posting regular updates as we go through this journey together.

Congrats on your lightning fast process. 2 months, start to finish, might be a new record!

I told my fiancee we should get a plaque or something. We might have broken some sort of visa speed record. Lol

Lot's of prayer and help from this website. Very happy with all the research we did.probably shaved a month off the waiting time. This process has been so crazy so far and i hope to stick around and help others through it when we are all done with the COS and everything.

I know I've already escaped the TSC hellhole.. but it was still interesting on Friday night I got notification on a Status Change at the USCIS website :)

it turns out they update it now when they officially mail the packet out to the visa center..

also received hardcopy of the noa 2 :) still, all this isn't really enough to get me excited since I already knew my case was approved.. it's NVC updates/etc that'll get my juices really flowing now

still nice how it updates when your application is officially sent to the visa center

January 21, 2020 = My wife is finally a US CITIZEN!! Thank you Jesus! Our long journey is finally over!!

December 18, 2019 = Naturalization Oath Letter Received! THANK YOU JESUS!! The journey is long, but in the end.. it's all worth it

December 17, 2019 = Naturalization Oath Scheduled! i751 Removal of Conditions on Green Card Approved!

December 16, 2019 = "do over" for n400 interview.. was sent to the Adjudicator room.. after a very long wait since it was crowded.. PASSED!

I wish CSC would notify you as well. I guess it's a catch-22.

I definitely found it interesting. It took a week for them to mail out the approved application. So Jan 30 is my real countdown date on how long it'll take until NVC receives it/etc.

Yea, it was a pleasant surprise but like I said.. nothing I didn't know already. Was still good to know matter of factly, hey my application's been sent out to the NVC!
