Doubt it, I followed exactly to the tee. It will come through, I have faith, just a little depressing seeing other Filipino couples get approved at TSC before mine. I think I will call Monday if I do not hear anything.

Go for it my friend.. anything and everything to prevent the helpless feeling that sets in.. one of the reasons I followed what others were doing in their signatures is I hated having to remember official dates, so for me, it helped seeing my timeline at a glance

I was were you are a few weeks back. Calling my fiancee and feeling the drag of the process then seeing the quick approval I was amazed and just hit my knees and thanked god. I csn believe we will get 3-4 months of our lives back. It's a miracle and it feels like flying. Im hoping for a quick embassy turn around too so we can be together by march. Congrats to everyone who got thier approval.

thank you I'll be honest though.. you're CSC!!! haha, there's a different dread and pain us TSC people endure. Like I said, I've resigned myself to a 7-8 month wait. lol!!

what's your timeline like if you don't mind sharing? when did you mail? when did they receive? etc..

Frankly, I don't like mentioning the "p.e." and did not believe it because it seemed too good to be true and certainly would not happen at TSC.. but it's definitely true because it just happened to me. I notice you're CSC as well, so definitely your case will move forward soon enough

last time I'll mention it tbh.. only because I know the anger/frustration others will feel at the entire mess the SC's are in and seeing the speed pi cases are processed my only wish is going forward, i wish/hope that the Service Centers will become more efficient, TSC specifically

The thing i notice about the Texas center is that once they approve you they actually send your petition to the NVC. CSC seems to not be able to find thier stamps or something.?

for those who are at TSC and waiting for who knows how long - guys what would you recommend to do while waiting (like are there any specific forms and so on that could be done while waiting so once you are approved you can save some time in order to be able to move to the US as soon as possible)? Thanks!

mukhoo, we are in the same boat. I am happy for everyone who gets out of the visa hell quickly but at the same time it is tearing me up inside to see CSC filers be done with that stage in 30d or less when it is gonna take me and my fiance 7 months+ at this stage. And, as you may notice, I am from what it is considered a "low risk" country. The only thing guiding the assignment of cases is the address of the petitioner. My fiance lives on the East Coast = TSC. West Coast = CSC.

Got my hardcopy of NOA2 in the mail today, it's so nice and official looking! It looks like I've got until the 19th of May before it expires. Hopefully the CSC mess has rectified itself and my petition makes it to the NVC smoothly.

There's a thread about CSC not delivering approved petitions straight away or the petitions themselves getting mailed to the incorrect place. Most, if not all, of the recently approved petitions seem to be going to the correct place, though..

You need to start gathering together your financial support documents. There's information on this section on the K-1 Guide.

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance(e) should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well). 2. Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance(e) to have on hand for their interview at the embassy. Your fiance(e) should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well). 3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F). 4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all. 5. You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:

(A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance

(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)

© If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern

(D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. See this FAQ for more tips and useful information on the Affidavit of Support Form. 6. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail. (backup information; the embassy will have copies of this as well) 7. Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, online chat logs (pick several over the prior few months), etc.. from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 until date-now).

Ok. So NVC has verified that they received my file but there is still no case number? How is that possible? How long does it take to get my case number?

It could take up to 2-3 weeks for a case number to get assigned. Read about the process flow for NVC

Ok. Thanks. The reason that is konda confusing is because more than a few timelines have the NVC number date and the nvc recieve date the same day or just a few days apart.
