I wonder how processing times will be affected by the influx of filers next month (?). I think those that got California before the influx were quite lucky and even those who were sent to Texas were also lucky. I am sure there is about to be a major back log of cases from both centers about to happen. But maybe I am wrong. If they were smart they would expedite all the cases there now through Jan.

Why will there be an influx of filers next month? Valentines day?

Hi there,

Based on various postings it seems like it's best to call 2-3 weeks from receive your electronic NOA2.

As for best time, many have said to 1) have a re-dial app installed onto your phone as you can quite often get a busy signal, 2) to call either early in the morning when they open (so starting about 4 o'clock PST) or later in the evening (maybe 7-8PM?). I think for receiving your initial information (the Case No., Invoice No., and Beneficiary ID No.), you will need to be patched through to a human... be sure to have your receipt number, beneficiary DOB, and their name handy.

Once you have the case number, you should be able to start tracking it on the CEAC website... but according to the flow charts-it's between 1-3 weeks between NVC and Embassy.

Cheers, Chris. Very helpful information for me and I'm sure others.

And I'll say this: If it takes even three weeks to get my number, then another three to get to the embassy (ei. a total of six weeks from NOA2 to embassy), I'll be thrilled with that. Anything faster would be gravy.

Have a terrific weekend, fellow December filers!

Brilliant, another person on the same timeline as me and one other poster-keep us updated on the status of your NVC communications as I will probably start calling them if your attempts prove fruitful. I will do the same and keep you posted, as well! x

you and i almost have the same exact timeline in regards to noa1 submittal/receive/hardcopy/etc :)

i'll pray for you, if you pray for me

it's all we can do now :(

Thank you, charlieprince! I am praying for you as well :) I see you're in NYC; I just moved to Albany! It's my first time in NY and I'm coming from FL so I am freezing, haha.

I feel like I can be honest here if nowhere else... I don't feel like I can even look at this forum anymore after seeing all these CSC approvals at almost the exact same time I submitted ours to TSC. I know a lot of people have been waiting a lot longer than us, so forgive me for being so negative. It's just so frustrating. And is it me or does it seem like it's the low-risk countries whose cases got transferred to CSC (i.e. United Kingdom)? Just an observation. Who knows, maybe you and I will get lucky too!

mukhoo, we are in the same boat. I am happy for everyone who gets out of the visa hell quickly but at the same time it is tearing me up inside to see CSC filers be done with that stage in 30d or less when it is gonna take me and my fiance 7 months+ at this stage. And, as you may notice, I am from what it is considered a "low risk" country. The only thing guiding the assignment of cases is the address of the petitioner. My fiance lives on the East Coast = TSC. West Coast = CSC.

Come over to the December 2014 TSC filers thread if you like.

Congrats to you!

Thank You :) Frankly, I did not believe this "Philippines Expedite" and seeing reports, threw the blame at the SC's themselves. CSC are approving cases from everywhere at an eye-opening pace and TSC is stuck at 7-8 months

so I kept praying TSC will see Philippines and approve the K-1.. and thank you lord my prayers were answered

to everyone in TSC, hang in there, stop thinking of the wait (sorry, but really I stopped thinking about it because it will drive you mad/nuts/etc) and hopefully TSC starts performing better

and yes, the "Philippines Expedite" is still on-going, my case is proof of it

Congrats, I noticed on you time you sent application on the 18th of December and received the hard copy on December 22. Congrats on the approval. Not sure why, my fiance being Filipina has yet to be approved. We received our NAO1 on December 4. This makes the 2nd Filipino couple I've seen get their NOA1 later than I and receive their NAO2 before me.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.

Doubt it, I followed exactly to the tee. It will come through, I have faith, just a little depressing seeing other Filipino couples get approved at TSC before mine. I think I will call Monday if I do not hear anything.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
