A touched date means that someone at the Service center looked at or "Touched" your application, does not mean you were approved or anything, just that someone looked at it.

I just have a question about this - how do you if somebody "touched" your case? Where is it written? Thanks!

And congratulations to all speedy approvals! you guys are so lucky!

If you sign into the USCIS website and check your status, there is a date,either the date the package was entered into their system of if someone has looked at it. If yours say has a Jan 5th date on it to the right of your case number, thats the last time your case was touched, if that date progresses to todays date. that means someone has touched your case or at least looked at it, its just a way of seeing if your case is moving forward.

In the years gone by I had a case with an enter date of April 4th, nothing changed until August 30th, the date it was touched and looked at, but I got an RFE at the time.

I was excited to see the update on the my USCIS website that my I-129F was approved. As excited as I am I cannot help to feel for all of you that are stuck in the TSC and still waiting. I have read many posts from frustrated filers and wish to say I am sorry for your delay. Hi dec filer here sent our petition nov26 they received it dec1 got my noa1 dec4 and now got my NOA2 dec22 csc Goodluck to all :)

Am I reading this right? It only took 18 days btw NOA1 and NOA2? My fiancé and I trying to mentally prepare for that stage to take at least a couple of months. That's amazing. Congrats, twinkie!

A discrepancy this massive, between two processing centers, frankly makes no sense to me. One Petitioner on this very thread received his NOA2 in less than three weeks, while others are expected to wait up to six months? It just makes no sense to me. I know "life isn't fair," but that's just beyond reasonable.

I hope it works our for all the Texas petitioners.

At this point in time, at TSC, you can expect to wait at least 6 months, not up to 6 months. Worst case I have come across yet is someone who filed in Feb and did not get NOA2 until December...

June 2014 is still being process, that makes it on average 7 months for those guys.

pretty much killing me right now and i keep hoping daily that the "Philippines" beneficiary expedite is true (which I do not think it is)

everyone getting their cases approved and done quickly is ALL CSC and it speaks the world of the difference between CSC vs TSC

but yes, i'm hoping against hope that an expedite happens in the hellhole that is TSC :(

February 20, 2015 = NVC Approval Letter Received! (lol a week after Riyadh Embassy contacted us)

February 16, 2015 = Case # Received from RIYADH EMBASSY!! Yup! Didn't call NVC or hear anything but damn that FAST!

February 06, 2015 = NVC received I-129F package (called them, no case # yet)

January 30, 2015 = Hardcopy of NOA2 received

January 30, 2015 = USCIS Status Change! Application Mailed to Visa Center. (so it took a week for TSC to mail it to NVC)

Based solely on my review of this thread, the "expedite" rumor re Phil petition is unfounded. Several other Dec filers have experienced lighting-fast approvals. As you noted, what they have in common is CSC, not Phil.

Frankly, the Phil expedite rumor makes no sense to me, bc it's supposedly based on the Typhoons. While those Typhoons were massive, terrible, and tragic, and our hearts go out to the victims, the fact is the overwhelming majority of Filipinos are, thank God, fine. My fiancé wasn't effected at all, in fact.

Best wishes to your processing at TSC, Charlie. I suppose you could contact your Congressperson, but that's of course your call.

Way to early to call Congress. Give it till May/June. Official processing times are supposed to be 5 months.

I am pretty sure the expedite is still going on based on Igor's list. A TSC expedite probably means 2-3 months as opposed to a CSC expedite of a couple of weeks. Also, a lot of people put their Service Center wrong as they all mail to Dallas, Texas. When you check Igor's list for cases in December 2014, there are at least 5 I can point to with a high likelihood of actually being processed in California based on the state reported in the member profile.

TK, does the expedition for Philippine Petitions also apply to NVC and/or Embassy processing? Or it's just for TSC/CSC part of the process (which I understand to be longest part)?

AFAIK only USCIS. I have seen Phillipine filers stuck in NVC limbo just as long as non-Phillipine. But usually NVC is only a couple of weeks for K1 and the embassy processing is governed by each country anyway.
