Got our NOA2 email on Dec. 30th, and the hardcopy on Jan. 5th! I was visiting the future hubby in the Netherlands at the time so it was so amazing to be together when the news came! We both cried of joy and happiness. Petition was approved in 21 days! Crazy...so thankful we were at CSC! Updated the time line and the signature.

For all the peeps at Texas, do. not. lose. hope. It will happen! It might take some time, I think they're processing June filers right now? But it will happen! Lean on each other during that time, the wait will be worth it in the end! Good luck to everyone and love to you all.

what I find incredibly irritating is the world of difference between CSC and TSC

I'd go so far to say as they need to blow up TSC because for the life of me I cannot fathom how CSC would be this efficient and TSC is just..

oh well, just have to endure this killer of a wait.. :(

Yeah, it is sad that TSC takes so long. When u read all of the approvals from CSC and you haven't been approved yet it makes you sad and depressed that TSC is sooooooooooooooooo......slow. it seems a bit unfair to have one center pump out the visa approval and the other sitting on their butts. But I am thankful nonetheless, and honored to have this opportunity to bring my beautiful fiancee to the states. :)

hoping this still holds true.. Dec filer here. TSC and Philippine beneficiary even though she's currently working in Riyadh as a modern day slave

We filed of I-129F December 18th, we already have our NOA1 (got it December 23rd)...not really sure where is was transfered :unsure:

I hope we all have good news soon! :dance:

Does your NOA1 Receipt number start with a WAC (California) or SRC (Texas)... that will tell you where it will be processed.

I have a few questions, some people in their signatures have a 'touched' date, what does that mean? And exactly how long before NOA2 is sent does the ARN change? I'm going into my second week of waiting for NOA2 and was just curious to see what the timeline is like.

I have also seen a lot of people with a quick ARN change. I am day 18 post NOA-1 and have not heard anything about the ARN. Apparently the ARN is on the NOA-2 and the actual changing of it does not predict anyhting.

Based on current TSC trends for non-expedite cases, we are looking at 180-200 days for approval in Texas right now. Hoping they speed up.

On the plus side for you California cranks it out, you should have yours in less than 30 days.

A touched date means that someone at the Service center looked at or "Touched" your application, does not mean you were approved or anything, just that someone looked at it.

Thank you for clarifying. Does this "touch" get translated into your case history on the USCIS website, by chance?

I have also seen a lot of people with a quick ARN change. I am day 18 post NOA-1 and have not heard anything about the ARN. Apparently the ARN is on the NOA-2 and the actual changing of it does not predict anyhting.

Based on current TSC trends for non-expedite cases, we are looking at 180-200 days for approval in Texas right now. Hoping they speed up.

On the plus side for you California cranks it out, you should have yours in less than 30 days.

Unfair, huh?

I feel horribly for the petitions that are processed through TSC. And I feel guilty that I am acting so impatient, I was just curious as my automated message at USCIS hasn't been updated since 30 December (notice of receipt) and I've noted multiple posters with signatures that mention a pretty quick ARN change.
