If you can go anyway, it might pay too as some who have not gone even though they had the cancelled emails have had their cases turned upside down etc and more stress.

There are a few threads in here with it, especially lately.

nadiaru,

Could get sadder. Consider going to the interview anyway. Quite a few people have had their application for adjustment denied because they failed to attend an interview that they thought had been cancelled.

What's worse... driving 3 hours to find out that they really did cancell your interview.. or multiple trips of 3 hours a pop to get it all sorted out when they deny you your PR status because you didn't show up when they thought you should have...

Don't be too short sighted about this...

If you get a paper cancellation notice, then it's your choice. However, if all you have is an email, then don't even consider not going. If things go wrong you could be left with a denied case and no proof that your interview got cancelled - and email is not a proof.

Agreed... an email is not good enough... someone could have easily made a wrong keystroke and cause that message to show up...

If you don't have a written notice on their fancy paper.. then get your behind to your DO for that interview...

i want to call them one week before my "interview" to make sure that i'm canceled, because if my documents still at Missury Service center,it would be waist of time to go to that interview.

i have a lil hope that we got aproved without interview...just a lil hope...

yes, i understand. i got email from uscis 1 day ago, i hope that letter would come in the mail soon.

i still think it would be better to call interview office befor going and ask them if i'm still on the list.

The only problem is that a phone call is not a proof either. So let me repeat: if you don't get a paper cancellation letter, then go anyway. If you do get one - then it's your choice. Myself, I did not go. Later I received an email like yours, went anyway and got approved.
