Hey,

did that happen to somebody else?? I got an RFE after my case was sent to the CSC. And it said, that they cant find my medical from germany, what I neded to get my visa in the first place. The medical was definately there when I entered the US bcause without they wouldnt have let me in. And it was there, when the case was in chicago because we got an RFE rom them and that didnt include the Medical.

So now they want me to have another one hre and guess what: We are the ones that have to pay for it.

I know of another girl where they lost the medical too.

So is there anybody else out there where that happened again?

That's absurd...you couldn't have even come in on the K1 without a medical in the first place! Have you tried contacting Germany about it?

But your timeline indicates that the RFE was for the vax supplement? And you've sent that in already today?

nope, the rfe was for the whole medical. They wanted the whole medical again. So we called that number on the RFE and that officer told us just to send a copy of the vaccination supplement from germany and a copy of the vaccinationthing form the states (I-693). So we just sent those today and hopefully thats enough. I really dont understand how that can happen and why they make meget the whole thing again because like miranda&james already said.I couldnt have com ein the first place without it.

I had an RFE because they couldn't find my medical file too. I called the Senator's office and they USCIS to remind them that I wouldn't have rec'd my K3 if I hadn't completed the medical so they "found" what they needed there :P

twopens,

Sorry to hear that this happened to you. I would suggest to just go ahead and take another medical instead of trying to figure out where the one from germany is. I know it is more money to spend, but less time to waste.

I filed for AOS a week after I entered in a k-3 visa and I still went ahead and took another medical instead of hoping that the US consulate in Mexico would take appropriate care of it and forward it to the correct agency in the USCIS.

Unfortunately this is bureaucracy at its prime!

Hope everything gets straighten up for you!
