Sharing and comparing information

I just wanted to say Im concerned about some things that I was told about people sharing information. People from Jamaica are obviously all or most are on friendly terms via whats app with one individual and he is asking for very personal private information. He will see this post but thats fine. He has asked for snapshots of confirmation pages and emails. He told me that many of you send him all your personal info, passwords etc. He gets upset if my passport numbers, names, etc are blocked out. He questions why I block them out and belittles me for it. Im not intimidated by that at all. I'm a highly sensitive person (empath) so I pick up vibes very easily, the vibes from him are not good at all. I see through it. Let me "break the ice" and say .... PLEASE people, be careful in what you share. Dont trust anyone you "meet" in a forum.

Oh wow. You should never give out that type of information. One does not need personal information to give advise of case status. Seems as if people are putting themselves at risks for fruad and scams.

Absolutely. I have personal experience with the Duke Street Fraud Squad in Kingston. If people could only see how often they bring in new victims. Its an eye opener. Trust me, when people know someone is about to leave the country on a visa it opens doors for scammers to come in and take over that persons identity.

I should clarify that when I said people from Jamaica I meant people on this forum going through visa process in Jamaica.

I think it is not wise to meet ppl online and even over-time

give them information on you. I personally feel its OK to

help each other here and for reasons PM (if its valid) other

than that I will not give out info or have ppl become my

wattsapp friends....just not kool ..one open themselves up to scammers,

rumors, and ppl trying to get in your life....That individual sounds like

someone you should cut ties with, Y were U sending theses info to him,

is he an atty? One can get almost any question answered here or on online

someplace...stay safe ppl.

Never give it away. Your info is just like your SSN. It ain't about to happen. Also, why do you know my personal business anywho. It is none of your business where I am in the process regardless of being a countryman. I give you what I feel that you need to know.

Also, Whatsapp they can easily send your info to others in pictures in less than 2 seconds, and your info is all over Jamaica.
