Hi guys just wanted to share the good news, got the interview date today from Sydney only 29 days away, i still have to get my police check from London done as i lived there for 17 months in the early 70's and that takes 40 days apparently, eeeeek, it may not arrive in time for the interview, has anyone had this happen with a police certificate? as i was only notified by the Sydney embassy that i have to have one, not much notice given as it was by mail the day before i got the interview letter

Cheers

The London police check is a legal maximum of 40days. Howeve they are pretty quick - mine only took 10 days and this was over christmas holiday and new year holidays - so not bad.

Good luck with the interview. We were on 'missing document review' because Claudeth forgot to get her German police clearance translated. Once they got the translation she got the visa a few days later.
