Hello all......another daft question from me  .............

(We havent even filed for the K1 visa yet, but already I am thinking ahead to AOS :innocent:)

Here's our story.....I am the K1 visa beneficiary and I live in England. I have a reasonable job and I have approximately 15K GBP in savings and approximately 80K GBP in real estate.

My fiancee (The USC) only has a part time job and a few savings.

My main concern is regarding the affadavit of support I-864. How do we go about filling that in? i.e. Does she fill it in and put her income and savings (even though we know she is under the poverty limit) and then list my savings and real estate assets??

If so, will the amounts I mentioned above satisfy the USCIS?? I have access to nearly 200K USD - surely this will be enough to satisfy the requirements without having to get a co-sponsor.

Thanks in advance.

helwardman,

Start by reading the instructions that come with the I-864. Your questions are answered there.
