Why would you waste money like that? sure you can do what ever you want before hand you still have to the panel physicians for your medcal for the emassy to approve you.

They are checking for many things communicable diseases for one. Drug usage. X-rays looking for TB mostly. It's all about do you have a disease that is a danger to others and can be spread to others.

If your x-ray shows something (shows positive) on it they will make you do a sputum text. Some do fail especially in areas like Philippines where TB is high.

You will be asked to cough deeply and spit any material that comes up from your lungs into a special container. The sample is sent to a lab. There, it is placed in a special dish (culture). It is then watched to see if bacteria or other disease-causing organisms grow.

The sputum is a 8 week process. If it comes back positive for TB that is a failed medical and no Visa you go into treatment which is I believe 6 to 8 moths of treatment. After you are done you go back to medical for retest. If all good than you can reschedule you interview.

too much more than enough cut it down to half that.

i had tested my chest last week X-ray and the doctor said its all good but i might have very little of mucus due to weather changes in my country it comes with a cough, he said i can take a medicine and it will remove the mucus but no need for it because its just a very few and its not TB, and my wife and I met 8 times in one year, 2 times in turkey including one as honeymoon and one time in dubai and 5 times in my country, we were married on her first visit to me, then the 7 trips came after, do you think that is ok ?

The Chest X-Ray is to check for TB. If they see some something that might look like it then they will ask for a sputum sample. I am a Respiratory Therapist and i see this all the time. If you are unable to produce sputum then they can give you a breathing treatment consisting if hypertonic saline solution that would make you cough and produce something. Everyone produces 30cc of sputum a day. You dont know it because it is emptied into you esophagus. The reason they use the Chest X-Ray is because it is still considered the gold standard for diagnosis. People can have a false positive with the skin test and the sputum takes longer.

The skin test (Mantoux test or PPD test) is just a test where they inject a small amount of tuberculin under the skin and measuring the diameter of the swelling.

You're fine, your sputum isn't an issue, if when they do the xray, they see clouded areas, they will ask for a sputum sample then.

Montoux test is not reliable sometimes its give false positive result so they do only sputum

Dnt wrry if u have a seasonal flu then it doesnt mean ur sputum conatain gram positive bacteria which is requirr for tb .. Its their own special characteristics which other bacteria dnt have ..
