Had medical 27/11- now...

How fast have people heard about the interview after the medical?

Do they just send a letter and then you show up?

Looked on my case status and it was updated the 2nd and says

"Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section"

As long as you've already sent your DS160 and form of readiness, you should expect to hear back from the embassy within 6 weeks.

My fiance had his medical on Nov 24 and the embassy received the results on Nov 28.....I called the NVC office last night and our interview is scheduled for DECEMBER 17!!!!!! So excited.....I sent an email asking for an earlier date and had told them our wedding was NYE but never imagined he could actually be here on NYE after reading so many peoples experiences!!! Best of luck on an early interview date too!
