Hi I am a student and today I received of EAD card . In my card , my country of birth is mentioned as “UNKOWN” .
I checked my I-765 , and I think I made a mistake there . I just wrote place of birth exactly as my passport and left state and country blank since it was not there in my passport. I messed it up big time .
I have called USCIS ,and they said I am gonna hear back from them within 15 days.
Do I need to re-file the application again ?.

I know am stupid but it happened . Can you guys suggest me something .

You need to wait to hear back from USCIS.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

I have the same exact thing but I filed for my green card. I think you are fine. My work accepted it so I think it is okay.

Did you apply it again? Or did they send you a new one?
