I have a question for anyone who may know the answer, is there a reason that the interview has to be scheduled a month in advance? Or does it depend on the U.S. embassy in that country to schedule the date.... basically I just want to know if it will be sooner than one month or not...

I saw the theory and it does give me some sort of hope, lol. I've been following this thread for a few months now and I've seen many approvals, I don't think there's a lot of December filers left. I am happy that so many of us are approved but sad because I am still waiting and my NO1 date is Dec 1.

I know... its hard. Its going to come though it has to! when it does let us know. I know you aren't the only early December waiting either. Sending positive vibes your way!

The ten cases before me all have been approved or have some activity and all but 3 of the 10 after me have activity as well... Hope that means we will be approved soon. I'm in the US visiting my fiance now. Anybody get approved while in the US? I keep thinking they're waiting for me to leave... haha...

2016-05-10 Called USCIS. Was told to mail a response that my medical is not expired. Did that, then freaked out after seeing people got DENIED doing that. Intercepted my package with USPS Package intercept... Thankfully it worked.
2016-05-18 Mailed new Medical. No status update re: if it was received.
2016-06-07 NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED CASE STATUS UPDATE

2 cases before and 2 after mine were approved yesterday. Does it mean I will hear the news soon?

Could very well be! Cases before and after mine were approved or had an RFE. and then within the next couple days I got mine.

Good luck everyone, hoping for the best for all of you. Hoping to see more December filers. The site is still showing 81 open cases with 9 RFE's issued on the visajourney.com site (if they are all up-to-date and active; 25 are inactive members for sure, so really 56 visajourney.com open cases). So everyone is getting there :content:

They said they would look inquire on our behalf and to wait 30 days for a response... Seems to be the magic number eh? 30 days. Well leaving my fiance tomorrow. Hopefully it will come soon. Congrats to all that got it! I see some familiar posters receiving their NOA2. Very exciting stuff!

Any approvals today guys?

Checking cases before and after us - I couldn't get a clear picture. The case before and after us has had activity (approval and RFE) but going back a little further and a little forward looked inconclusive - still a lot of 'we received your NOA1 blah blah'.

December 22 here, and still waiting.

December 1 and still waiting. There are quite a few November filers waiting as well. There have been activity in cases before and after me as well and mine is in the middle :(
