But the timeline on the USCIS website says "as of April 31st" we are almost into July. They haven't updated their timeline to what is going on there today.

I don't think I can wait until Mid September!!! I am going nuts!

Neither can I ! We are almost ready to look into my fiance moving to Canada instead ....

Here is what my laywer said:

, here are some figures about recent processing at the TSC:

Report

Published Date As Of Date Working on cases with notice date of:

06/15/15 04/30/15 10/08/14

05/12/15 03/31/15 09/18/14

04/13/15 02/28/15 08/23/14

03/06/15 01/31/15 08/02/14

As you can see from the above dates, in roughly 3 months of published reports, they have processed slightly over 2 months worth of cases (cases with notice dates of August 2 up through cases with notice dates of October 8th). That's how I came up with my guess about your case being processed in three more months. Your notice date is mid December, so if this trend continues to hold and they process slightly over two more months worth of cases over the next 3 months of published reports, then they should be processing cases with mid-December notice dates by around mid September.

I think the VJ estimates are on point though. Looking at all the data that is out there, I am thinking it is any day. My issue is that the USCIS wont even talk to us. Which i find is really annoying

I talked to a guy at uscis on the phone yesterday and he basically said the same, something like "your case is still in the normal timeline, which means it will be processed within the next 2.5-3 months."

I can see where you are coming from, but my only issue with that is some people who filed in December are already being pushed through, and my own lawyer has said that it will come through any day.

I can only hope though.

That´s because they dont process in a straight line (obviously) but are not admitting to doing that - they say they do first-come-first-serve. So officially it´s another 2.5-3 months for Decembers, even though we know that they work on December.

believe me, you are in good company in having an issue with the process. Lack of transparency being topmost on my list :-D

Believe it or not, I did ask the uscis guy that same question. According to him, those cases were expedited for specific reasons. Not sure what the reasons are. I do hope it will happen much sooner than mid-Sept, too.

yeah right, because all of them filed an expedite? I dare to doubt that.

Interesting answer to a good question!

Did we ever figure out a good theory as to why there have been so many April approvals?
