I was checking the USCIS numbers close to mine almost daily after I noticed that several were also dated Dec. 17th. At least we know that someone has finally picked up the Dec. 17th stack. Thanks, and I hope you get great news very soon also!

Wow, wow, wow, I guess I picked a good and lucky day to join this board! I just checked my email and we are APPROVED!!!! :dancing: at 8:30 pm CST, tonight, June 19th NOA2 date. I am still in shock after the long wait since Dec. Just goes to show all on the board that if have a long standing relationship with plenty of proof evidence in your package, it will happen!!!

Good luck to all of you still waiting, but I am proof that TSC is doing the late Dec. group now!

Congrats!

I am so sick of waiting, this whole thing is crazy. Our NOA1 date was December 29th. June 29th will be 6 months that our case has been at TSC. In the meantime I am having to spend a lot of money going back and forth between the USA and DR and I've used up basically all of my vacation time. It's a mess. I'm not sure if July is more realistic or August. But, I'm not sure I can wait much longer after that.

For those of you who have written your congressmen/woman, did you contract their office by email, letter, phone, in person? What did you say? I'm thinking that might something I should do.

I contacted mine through the form on his website and made sure to fax the privacy release form the same day. Someone in my family knows him and I've met him several times so I said that and also told him about my Peace Corps service and how I met my fiance. Basically a little about our story. Then I talked about how long we had been waiting and the disparity between Texas and California and how unjust it is that we have to wait longer solely because of my state of residence.I think that was the gist of it. Good luck. You don't lose anything trying.

And did you say, "do you mind checking in with USCIS for me?" ....I can't figure out how to ask that.

Did you contact both Senator and Congressman or just congressman? I wonder if it is best to contact both. Who would be best to assist with immigration matters?

Congratulations. I know how long a wait it has been. When did you file your petition?

A minor clarification on my last post coa24, it should have read I delivered the K-1 package to my Attorney's office on Nov. 20 and they mailed it probably the next week to the Lewisville, Texas lockbox.

Now I am the lucky group that waits for her interview in Moscow. My Fiance should do well with that as we have been dating for almost 3 years. She teaches English and knows more about the U.S.A. than I do. She can not wait to see Lady Liberty, a dream of hers since childhood.

I feel your pain I am nearing the 7 month mark in a couple weeks... :( I'm not sure how much longer I can take either ..

You do not need to contact NVC. You can, if you are impatient and want a number to track you petition enroute from NVC to the embassy. But you do not have to.

General advice is to fill the DS-160 once the case is at the embassy and they contact you - the majority of embassies does that by mailing a letter.

Hello TabeaK, Thanks for the information on when to file the DS-160 online form. Do you know how it is different from the G-325 and other forms my fiance has completed already? And what is the filing fee for that form? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,

I've been reading every post and watching this board daily. I want to extend my sincerest congratulations to all those who have finally gotten your NOA2s. Small victories like this can only be understood by those of us who are actually in this process.

For those of you who are still waiting - you are not alone! Let us not lose hope here guys! Every approval technically gets us closer to our own approvals.

Ours was received on December 22, 2014 and we have still heard nothing.

Just over a week ago, we sent an inquiry to our state senator after reading that this had helped others. Basically we are trying any avenue we can to get someone to at least look at our application. We have heard nothing since. If we hear back, I will write an extensive post about what we wrote and what we did, but for now I'm just holding out hope that ANY DAY NOW someone will approve us.

I've been reading some posts on the DS160 form here, Im a little confused. I was under the impression that I could not fill this out until I got a number from NVC, but some of you are saying that our SRC number is enough to do this form? Can someone please confirm?

Also - after talking to some family and friends someone mentioned that there are some kind of 'immigration expediters' that exist in the United States that can have an 'influence' on getting your application approved faster. I am not convinced that this is true and after doing a search online, I've found nothing to support this claim. Has anyone heard anything like this before?

Hang in there guys!
