got to love the TSC. CSC people are like hitting the lottery compared to TSC. its really not right. its really starting to stress us out. my fiance is getting sick from getting so stressed. i know one day it will be all over, but it should be based on who is together and who is apart.. so many people it doesnt matter how long cause they are here in the US already. we are told we dont qualify for a touris visa cause we already applied for the K-1 so just need to wait. qoute" its only about 5 months." here we are month 6 and still at step 1. so much BS always.

That sucks that they can't get a tourist visa to visit. It definitely helps to ease the pain of this process. I feel for you :( I agree...it is infuriating to see so many people who applied after us get through so much quicker. I don't understand why they couldn't process it with a first in first out system... That would make it a little more fair I would think? I never anticipated it taking this long either...

i cant imagine being in their shoes. sept or Oct still waiting. but that may very well still be us. who knows. may still be here waiting in 3 more months. i def wont have any hair left thats for sure. make me want to smuggle her here!!! lol just venting. WE are only at the 6 month mark. moment it is approved all the ill feelings will be overwelmed with joy. my poor little pinoy fiance is so sick from stress im worried about her. got to stay positive....

It is so hard staying positive in this condition, when people with same NO1 date as you get approved and you just here waiting until God knows when  But hey, we have no other choice than to wait

I agree completely. Its so hard to stay positive. I feel like I try to be hopeful most days, but after 6 months, I'm feeling a bit hopeless these days. But it has to come sooner or later right? I always tell myself, well if he gets its now, he'll be here by the end of August (might not even be true, but it makes me feel better).

I am even more afraid if its takes longer. When I see October filers still waiting, I can imagine the ache. I tell myself sooner or later we'll be at the end of the process But I would rather sooner than later

I understand people wanting to have their wedding asap, but wouldn't it be a better plan all around to have a small ceremony and then after that plan for your wedding? You'd have only the stress that comes natural with planning a wedding without the added stress and frustration of not having your partner with you and the visa process. Additionally there are no surprises and hiccups. I'm constantly reading desperate and emotional responses from those who realise they may not have a wedding by X date. I feel like you'd be ten times likely to calm down and have less anxiety if you stop thinking about the rush for the wedding knowing that you can start planning it and enjoying the planning when both parties are finally together.

Well, at the end of the day if we have to move or wedding we have to move our wedding date. I'm not getting "desperate" or "emotional" just gauging opinion.

I understand what you are saying. I am just the kind of person that wants to have one wedding day, and I don't plan on having a huge extravagant wedding either. Closest friends and family only and I have already been talking to vendors to get prices and realistic timelines I need to give for notice to actually book. I explained to them the immigration process and so far they have all been pretty supportive. Bought wedding dress, bridesmaids have their dresses etc. Trying to do everything I can to prepare now before we go ahead and book a date. To each is own though.. :)

Same here. I honestly would be be okay with a simple, small ceremony just to get the practical stuff over with, but my fiancee is keen for the one, all-encompassing wedding day like you. In all honesty, that's my preferred option too, for both of us - I'm sure I'll look back more fondly on the day for having done it once and in the 'proper' way and have memories of a day where the legal marriage, church wedding and celebration happened at the same time.

yeah exactly! No matter what happens I am going to marry my guy - whatever it takes. If we were both from the same country then we would have it all in one day - so immigration isn't going to stop me from doing it the way I want. I have just had to not let my heart get set on a time of year and be open minded. Sometimes the best things come together when you don't over plan them anyways! Besides if it a winter wedding it's wedding off season so usually you can score some good deals! Gotta look at the positives :)

All of us on here would love to know the answer to that. When the announcement first came out that is what we were all anticipating would happen... but not the case :(

USCIS have update their site (it says last updated 9th June) but the dates for K1 and K3 haven't been updated. So when I file a request with USCIS I get the same "still wihin the timeframe"

Until that 18th September date changes it will be the same. I can't see them changing that date anytime soon because they will then be inundated with service requests.

We have called Dallas and.. Well, nothing, and congressman has also been contacted.

Not to be a debbie downer, but we filed for an inquiry about our case on April 13th, and 3 months later, they still haven't assigned the request to an officer. It's more likely that you will get your NOA2 way before they even look at your inquiry request.
