I agree, its better than nothing, at least it'll show some activity :) with a little luck they'll get annoyed and just approved them haha,

Bugging them into submission haha. I guess that pressure from officials may at the very least get them to do it quicker... Although if everyone got their congressman to inquire, they couldn't do everyone's quicker haha, so not sure how much we can extend the logic.

Good morning everyone, I hope the day will be good today for us all☺

so i saw the USCIS website is updated with the dates on June 9 but the dates stayed the same, stuck on September 18. Is that normal? ?

Good morning everyone, I hope the day will be good today for us all☺

so i saw the USCIS website is updated with the dates on June 9 but the dates stayed the same, stuck on September 18. Is that normal? ?

Its either an error because the as of date still says March 31 which is where it was on the last update or they just dont want to update it so the left it the same.

Applied 12/9/14 and received the NOA-1 within the next day.

My fiancé is from the UK.

Anyone have any idea on how much longer this wait will be? It's been 6 months and we haven't heard a thing.

Applied 12/9/14 and received the NOA-1 within the next day.

I received my NOA-1 on the exact same day as you. I haven't heard a thing yet either. I am hopeful we will hear something some time this month but who knows.. we are still collecting dust on someone's desk :(

I dunno...yesterday we called again and they said " We understand your situation please be patient"...

and they said that only after 6 months you can actually try to fill forms and stuff ...

I read on November fillers forum that a lot are still waiting..

I just hope NOA2 arrives soon ...

they didn't tell us anything precisely but I think the one girls posted earlier in these discussion where you say that you think your application has been too long waiting for an approval...

U can go on the USCIS website and and complete an inquiry. If you looked at previous messages, we talked about that 2 days ago. The reason for the inquiry is "Outside of normal Processing Time" You can always try, not that it gives any results tho

Ok thanks, I'll look into it. Just seems like a waste of time though with others waiting just as long.. grrrr

So I made an inquiry with my Congressman's office 3 weeks ago and I called today after not hearing anything and they said "we haven't received a response from USCIS yet." I tried to ask when they made the inquiry, but she had already hung up. So at least they actually sent an inquiry to them and didn't just tell me I was still within official processing times. I haven't heard from either Senator's office yet, though I was assigned a case worker at each and left them both voicemails today.
