i truly trying to guess, i guess they have target to finish with k1 visas specially starting from dec that they are reaching the 5 month or max 6 , no more than that, maybe beacuse starting from dec they can reach the target of 5 month or less more, and the months before that already they exceeded that target, so i think they will try to get approvals within 5 to 6 months by max starting from dec, truly it is so messy in tsc, but what is happening it is truly a good sign, so many dec fillers was expecting to hve the approvals by august or september which i was thinking that would be too much , and i pray now things get better in tsc

I would like to think so, but a lot of us are past 6 months already, including me so am not sure how this is working. I am praying that all December filers get approved at least this month

I've said this same thing before that I figured they are trying to at least make it appear they are meeting a 5-6 month goal. It also may be that they are waiting for certain things to come back on certain cases and rather than wait they have to move to the next batch/file.

i pray we are right with out guessing , and the approval that happening now is something to me sooo positive

I actually hope that they are going to be done with December by June.. :luv:

I mean according to their timing in March they were doing mid-September .... so more or less June is for December ...right?

Of course you'll never know for sure...

I just hope that they hurry up because it's not fair how they play with people's lives.

If you google USCIS processing times, go on the page, scroll to the bottom and select TSC they show that on March 31st they were at sept 18... They update it almost every month around the 10th..

I saw the another Italian person like me getting the approval last month too ..

I just have hope ...

Congrats to you guys!!!! :dancing::star::)

Can't wait for the rest of us! Hope those stragglers in September get theirs this week for sure.

Good luck, Ellie and Fron. Same here. It's tough seeing others with the same date get approved because you can't help but get your hopes up.

I know right?

The process is so slow..and they never update the processing time page or give you helpful information if you call them...

I just hope to receive NOA2 soon since people that got NOA1 at the end of December got it!!!!!

Hi...

My fiancé and I have watched this thread like hawks but not contributed yet, and I feel like it's time. Here's the story:

Met in China while I was on work assignment in Shanghai from 2014 to Feb 2015. We lived together during most of this time. She's Russian, I'm American.

We filed for the K1 with an NOA1 of 12/29/14. We twice tried to have to expedited on the basis of financial hardship and were rejected. Finally, I personally went to my US Senator's office and had one of the aids take my case. She said that they aren't expediting except for "emotional reasons" (you'd think they'd put this online, but you'd be wrong). Anyway, my fiancé has been living alone in China since I left, and her visa there expires in July, which would cause her to have to go back to Russia to renew her Chinese visa and them go BACK to China for the interview in Guangzhou (I won't go into the long story now).

The senator's office straightened Texas out really quick and we got approved. I'm not sure how unique our situation is vs others, but I hope that maybe this is helpful. I know the frustration of being stuck day after day and the bitterness it causes. My only tip is that you just have to keep fighting, and take a step everyday to make your voice heard, whether it's calling them or going to a 3rd party.

Before getting approved for expedite I called frequently. The last call a nice gentleman helped me with my second expedite request. Anyway I am glad many December filers are getting approved and I hope it continues.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Congratulations! What were the reasons of the expedite if don't mind me asking? I have tried and theh wouldn't even consider my request, i was told i had to prove financial hardship.

I'm not sure anything can make it go quicker for you as an individual. From what I gather, people on this site as a whole has had some impact on the decision for some applications to be sent to CSC to help clear the backlog at TSC?

My fiancee's family are going to contact their state representatives to try and see if they can find out the status and even nudge a little... they didn't share my cynicism that it would make no difference! Guess it doesn't hurt, though!
